Is there a relay near that planet?

Not sure, I don't think it's in that system.

And you're conveniently ignoring the part where they just leave before you can mobilize.

How are they doing this?

With what ships to carry them?

Or are they so awesome they can fly/survive the vacuum of space?

But is it your problem all those years down the road?

How far in the future does it have to be for it to cease being your problem?

By this logic I should just bang Morinth in ME2 and to hell with everything else. If I have to go might as well go out with a bang (the good kind, not the multicolored "artistic bull****" kind).

They tap into the vast reserves of grimdark energy and fly away!

Unknown. But it's very possible they can survive space. It's also unknown how many of these things are actually out there.

That could be expanded on in further DLCs. The sabotage is by no means complete.

Think I'll watch the DLC. That way, if I don't like it, I can pretend it doesn't exist. :P

So far, I'm a little annoyed by what seems to be an implied retcon. And EDI's precognitive abilities, "This does not seem relevant at the moment."

AIs are dangerous! They already have the script!

T-GES Mineral Survey had samples that showed meteorites with trace amounts of Element Zero that had been "digested" somehow Leviathan could be similar to Species 8472 from Star Trek. I'm going with the idea the Shepard summoned Cthulhu without knowing the repercussions of his actions.

Ahh, so they're ripping bits from elsewhere, as they've run out of ideas? Well, I'm going to wait and see. Don't know whether I can be arsed to shell out the $10 right now.

Well the Stargazer scene takes place ten thousand years in the future and canonizes all Shepards.

If Shepard and Miranda had a child it has not been responsible for the creation of the Synthetics that the Catalyst so fears. Or it isn't an issue.

The Leviathans haven't done anything either.

It's possible, but it won't be happening for at least ten thousand years.

The galaxy is going to be just fine. Your ass has been saved by artistic bull**** in this case.

I thought people were aware of this...

That's the entire point of the scene. It doesn't matter WHAT you choose. Society survives.

Everything is going to okay. I said this on the story forum...three or four months ago. I said they would asspull. I said they would allow a reunion. They even retconned the destruction of the Relays.

Your ending can have this, and more!

The endings are terrible but at the end of the day it could have been far worse. Everything is going to be okay.

That's why I get so frustrated with people who insist that Control and Synthesis look better.

Your Shepard gets to go home to the person he loves in Destroy. Control and Synthesis don't get that.

Depending on what you're looking for in an ending I'd say that puts it right up there with the other two.

Lots of libinous rush sex for everyone in Destroy.

Your Shepard gets to actually kill the reapers, the whole point of the game from day one, thus freeing the galaxy of their control for the first time in millions of years.  oh and also gets to go home to the person he loves in Destroy. Control and Synthesis don't get that.

^ There is no pain you are receding. A distant ship, smoke on the horizon.

Point is is that I've spent far too much time compiling an ending I won't let it get ****ed over just because the BSN gets ideas sometimes.

The future is hazy, smoky, but Destroy has a light just like the other two endings. I shouldn't have to do this for a AAA product but I've come to far to let that stand in my way.

There might be a little problem with that....

Miranda: You what?!

Shepard: I sort of convinced a mind-controlling organic starship that they should help us fight the Reapers. It's not so bad, I mean their empire ruled over all organic life like some sort of Lovecraftian horror that considers itself to be the apex of sentient life but there's only a couple of them left so it's not that bad.

Miranda: Shepard, you just damaged all advanced technology in the galaxy and knocked out the Relay network. What happens when Leviathan and it's associates realize that the Reapers are gone and that galactic civilization can't do anything to stop them from rebuilding their empire?

Shepard: Oh crap.

^ Or...OR you can pay attention to what happens. Those bastards haven't done anything for ten thousand years.

Shepard and Miranda are long dead. The Relays have been rebuilt. We probably have a **** ton of neat weapons too.

They ass pulled. So much so that their hands extend OUT of their mouths when pulling.

Everything that is damaged can be repaired easily. The Catalyst states this.

The endings suck ass. Mad ass, but things are no where near as grim as people think they are.

They are stupid and contrived. There is a difference.

But happy! High EMS destroy is basically my ROTJ ending.

And I'm fine with that.

I suppose now all we have to do is wait and see if our wish comes true. I would imagine the files will be data mined within the next few days. It will probably be for Omega but who knows.

Best not to get my hopes up but we really don't know what's next past Omega.

Here's hoping...

Wait, so what ending did Leviathan destroy? I'm about half way through and....Wow. This is how the rest of ME3 should have been. No where else in the game is everything so detailed and feel so....interesting.

Like, for the second time in this entire game, I'm feeling sorrow for Ann and her situation and ete. Why am I not feeling this anywhere else? Gah. Leviathan is frustraiting because its good and, so far, is better than most of the game.

Source?

And who's to say Space Grandpa doesn't end his next story of "the Shepard" with "Now it's really time for bed my sweet. Remember we have to get up early tomorrow for the tribute to our cuttlefish overlords."

I tell you nothing good can come from this.

I haven't played it, but apparently some people feel that the DLC is partially intended to render destroy less desirable.

Why? If someone could give me a less Spoiler-y reason, I would be greatful. I'm at the third Lab visit. James is here for some reason but I had to stop.

Put it this way- these things that can kill Reapers? Yeah they're not exactly nicer if you know what I'm saying. So if you destroy the Reapers, the geth and damage the relays, what's to stop these not so nice things from paying you and the rest of the galaxy a not so nice visit... that never ends?

. Right after the reapers are blown to hell, we blow the Leviathans to hell as well
