She fits the role perfectly. Why should she be changed? Miranda would not be the same without Yvonne Strahovski.
And VA work really only takes a day or two to record lines.

For a long time I mentally subbed in Hale for Miranda. So works for me. I like Strahovski's performance 98% of the time, though. She's a skilled professional, even if I don't like her live action work.

I was a Miranda fan first, Strahovski fan second, but I see them as inseparable anyway. Though, I know how much you like to believe her casting has something to do with the ME3 treatment, and I don't care to repeat that all over again.

1. I love Miranda <3<3<3<3<3<3<3 you can ask other people in this thread.
2. False reports will get you banned.
3. Sharing an opinion is allowed on the forum.
4. If BioWare were like you then the whole SP Story forum wouldn't be a warzone.

I never went to that Thread, but I can't really see why we would troll there. I haven't seen any sign of "Vengeance" on our part.

If you guys are reporting Ghost, don't report him for trolling Miranda, remember that BioWare people doesn't give a crap about her and they don't care about flaming that includes her character. If you'll report him, wait for another round of his ridiculous Jacob pictures and report him for racism, I believe that will do the trick most likely.

As for dragon_claw, he is insignificant, just ignore him.

I don't think Strahovski was to blame. Miranda had a large-ish role. They had the space to do something impressive, but the character was highjacked by a reactionary element within the dev team. So a recast/larger role would likely have meant more of the same.

I don't think we'll ever get a straight answer on why Miranda was sidelined, but I doubt it had to do with Yvonne. Bioware is so hungry for stunt-casting that they gave Chobot a real role, I doubt they'd get rid of someone who's actually on TV and regular people have heard of...

ghost, you might help in the tech support forum but here you are most of the time an annoyance.

1.- *britney spears guy here* If you love her then don't bash her 90% of the time.
2.- False reports can get someone banned, if they are false. Most of your post here aren't constructive and are meaning to incite flame wars and trolling.
3.- We can share our opinions about reporting you or not.
4.- People gets banned a lot in the BSN, that'snothing new.
5.- No one is threating you, just saying that your behavior might cause some reports from the users here.

As fo rme, I'll do like the rest of the users from here and just ignore you, and maybe report you, as I said before.

Yes, Yvonne is really good as Miranda, however I'll agree with Skullheart on this. She's not passionate about videogames like Ali or Jennifer, and Yvonne doesn't seem to have enjoyed the experience, she hardly talks about the game. I followed her on twitter because I was such a Chuck fan and I don't recall ever seen her tweet about the game, let alone showing she was proud of the game; they could use her for face model like Jillian Murray was for Liara and get Miranda a different VA.

BioWare should stick to VA from now on, they are less expensive and more dedicated.

On the topic of VA's it has nothing to do with money. Understand that. It has everything to with how she was written. That's become increasingly clear to me, especially after this thread made me aware of certain changes that were made.

Furthermore the people who are most upset with Miranda now are most likely the ones who won't be happy if she gets DLC. Weekes guided Jay in the writing. I wasn't surprised to see some of these traits appear in a more noticeable fashion. I'd always seen the character that way.

What I didn't expect was to see it handled so poorly.

She needs to address Cerberus in some context in a DLC, as well as the Reaper War. A DLC involving this squad of hers sounds like a great idea.

I agree, they couldn't do better than Martin Sheen. And Seth Green and Tricia Helfer are also exception to that rule, they are both amazing and unlike Yvonne, proud of their work.

GIve her a DLC to fill in those gaps and give context.
