They used a character trait to string her along. Her ideals are still there they just aren't on screen.

These characters are not obscenely complex.

She believed in an organization and it feel apart. She had second thoughts. She had those in ME2.

Why is this such a surprise to people here?

Well you have to go on what was established in her character in ME2 , There isn't much in ME3 to go on .

I remember seeing interviews years ago about her. They told you then.

I said "I like her and what she's about, I'll get involved with her!" And here I am three years later seeing traits I saw before.

She's always had a conscience. Compassion. She cares for people. Look at her face.

She's human.

I've always wanted you in my life Taboo Miranda...

I should go.

I guess, since this is a video game, it would be nice if we were able to actually see her traits (which I know are there) be showcased because it's not like we get the detail that we do in literature. The fact that we have to headcannon a lot of situations doesn't help with an interactive medium.

...No comments on the idea of Ori being at Grissom instead of the center of Miranda's Arc?

Sure. Anything would have been better than what we have.

Maybe be friends with Jack?

Heh.

Why would Oriana be at Grissom Academy?

It's a school for biotics...as far as we know, Oriana isn't a biotic.

Not entirely. The school itself shut down but many of the students, MOSTLY Biotics, stayed there. Don't forget, David Archer is also there as well as a few Techies.

Now I have this really epic scene in my head of Ori and Jack fighting side by side and being unstopable.

Aren't they the same age?

Jack is in her twenties. I think. Don't quote me on that.

Jack is older, maybe by a few years.

I think she was around 20 give or take a year or two. I can see Ori being a Engie or an Infiltraitor. I doubt Henry would have allowed another daughter to have Biotics considering...Miranda probably escaped using Biotics.

True.

Maybe its just me, but I still don't see any reason as to why she would be there. I'm sure someone could make up a reason, but...I don't know.

Her email in ME2 states she wants to further her education. Maybe she wants to be by Miranda's side?

Oh God the dossiers that's right.

She wants to go into colony development actually, at least that's what she told Miranda.

The thing that happens after that conversation makes me sad.

There's no point to studying 'colonial development' if there isn't anyone left to inhabit them or places to colonize in the first place.

Colonies never really had the best luck in Mass Effect.

Though, We would have no reason to see the ones that did have good luck.

My first person to balem about her mutilation still is walters, followed by hudson and jay w.

I'm not affond with straohskiv, mainly because for her Miranda was just a work. While with the rest of the main VA it was something more, at least they didn't cut ties with the fans of the characters like strahivski did. She did her work anyway, I just wanted someone who liked the work to do it.

Yvonne and a few others were arguably never big fans of the genre. But she has said herself she is a big fan of Miranda and she likes the story. She's not a gamer. She didn't cut ties with the gamer fanbase. And she isn't denying the work she did. But it's work to her. She doesn't do much with VG's so she understandably has little insight into how big her role was or the impact of the series has had on the VG universe. The only thing she learns about VG's is going to be from 1) Fans and 2) Bioware contacting her to do more VA work. It's not that she hated the role, far from it. She just didn't have the background to really see much into it. Listen to her interviews. She says she loves Miranda's character, but then she says that there really isn't much she knows about the unniverse. It really doesn't interest her.

Plus there's the whole NDA contracts and the like...

She's on Earth with Miranda at some base I'm sure.

I already was building upon this idea myself but I have no idea what to do with her.

Thoughts?

And don't give me the obvious one.

There's probably more to Oriana's capabilities than we know.

She's a blank slate. You can do what you want.

She's as smart as Miranda and looks just liker her.
