I don't think they would ever get along. Three games latter and Ashley still doesn't like Liara, no other explanation than because she's an alien. So easy to say Ashley tends to stick with her views, I believe they could find some common ground and even respect each other, but that's it, Ashley would never get past Miranda's history with Cerberus and Miranda would think Ash is nothing but a blind Alliance soldier.

I'd be pretty ****** off if I were Shepard and wasn't promoted to Captain or whatever succeeds Lt. Commancer. After everything he's done to not be recognized, and worse, have the fact that the VS did a lot less than him and got a lot of promotions... Well, that would be the final straw for Shepard not joining the Alliance again, if only we could refuse Anderson's reinstatement.

Where are you getting that from? I don't think Ashley even mentions Liara in the third game excpet on the Mars mission and if you take Ashley to Thessia.

Yeah I don't think mine has any plans on staying with them post war.

I'm so sick of them by the end of that game it's not even funny.

The big idea is that Shepard and Miranda would form a new organization after the war at some point. Not the same as Cerberus but something a bit more balanced in that regard.

The name that's being tossed around is Phoenix.

Yes, which is why I only mentioned Liara. So if not racism, then jealousy is the only thing that comes to mind, but she is definitely not a fan of Liara. And again, you're trying to defend Ashley's actions. You're telling me she didn't have a not so nice attitude towards aliens in the first game?

Try constantly bringing those two along on missions and you'll see what I'm talking about. One situation I can recall is taking Vega and Ash to the fuel reactor mission, Vega will say something like that situation smells wrong and Ashley will agree with him. If you bring Ash and Liara, Liara will something similar that Vega said and Ashley will reply in her condescending tone "What gave you the first clue?", which Liara replies "the tension on your face". So Ash respects and agrees with Mr. Brain Dead but can't agree with Liara when she states the same thing?

She was not the biggest fan of aliens, I will admit.  This is a fair reaction given her family history and the fact that humanity as a whole was only a couple of decades from being wiped out by aliens.

However, what you're mistaking for xenophobia was really a proper understanding of intergalactic politics.  She exactly says what does wind up happening in ME3.

However, I suggest we drop this line, since we're in the miri thread.

I could care less at this point to be honest. They've been incredibly unprofessional at times and some of their quotes are just awful.

Rest assured however that they are paying for it.

EDI is researching information about Project Basilisk and says that among her search, she learned of a "rare, mid-tier enemy type" in the Galaxy of Fantasy videogame that "possesses a gaze attack capable of triggering synched animation kills" and concluded with "player forums describe it as 'Overpowered". They were totally making fun of the BSN members that whine about the Banshee's sync kill.

BioWare's attitude towards the fans has been worse each day that passes. I don't agree much with the retakers, but after Bioware's actions of constantly mocking fans I hope the retakers plan to boycott their games work (oh, wishful thinking)

I don't mind it.  Everyone should get their own love stories that end well.  Ashmancers, Mirimancers, Kaidanmancers (even though I hate them), even Talimancers.

Just not mean ol Babi.  Babi's mean!


And that pic of them is sooo adorable (the one from the game).  They should have just changed the background and use that as the ec slide...
