@Ieldra2: I don’t think any of the at least loyal discussion options leads to a vastly different result. She expresses reservations about the base itself in each.

If you take the middle option and then keep the base, she says nothing about it until after the mission, then hints she's been questioning Cerberus' goals and hopes that whatever Cerberus finds in the base is worth it. Works for me.

Yes, worth it is the crucial thing here.

Oh, no, let's not start again.

Whether it was intended by the writers or not, I'd be happy to settle on saying that both interpretations are valid. How you reconcile it in your mind or whatever, that's up to you.

Shepard is the one with power/influence, the one you control and with whom you make th decisions, other characters are malleable within certain parameters. BioWare has sketched something out. Colour within the lines how you see fit, don't tell someone else they've picked the wrong colours.

Sure. I just object to the ‘OOC’ characterization.

And I'm objecting to you objecting to it. Can we let this rest now?

^^Great new picture again!

It really shows the difference between amateurish xnalara/gmod and professional 3dsMax

No. Your position invalidates one option. Mine allows both.

And? It's clear we don't agree and that won't change. So there's really no need to repeat "I'm right" ad infinitum. Or....well, I may put that line down to temporary insanity if you insist it has to be integrated somehow. Anyway, in my games it doesn't exist so I don't need to integrate it.

We are not starting the ooc debate again. There are more important things to discuss.

Agreed. The only reason the line caused me any worry was as a sort of canary in the coal mine.If ME3 hadn't turned the character into a stereotype with no identity outside her family and romance, we'd pay this no more mind than other questionable dialogue.

. But sadly ME3 wasn't exactly great

He's counting all the digits in pi.

It‘s true. Quite often, actually.

But if there are more important things, and I’m sure there are, I’d love to hear some!

. For example, why does TIM not want Kai Leng to kill Miranda at Sanctuary

Hm, I’d have to YT to see, but it seemed like he thought it’d take Leng too long and thus risk capture—the data were more important.

Didn't TIM say, "Only if she gets in your way. Focus on the data."

Or something.

TIM wanted Leng to get the data ASAP.

He figured the Reapers would take care of her, and I think he still believed he could get her and Shepard back on his side eventually.

I'm not sure what you mean with "blowing up the base for the lulz"... care to explain?

I get excited about these things just like lilitheris said. Gollum. That's a good description of me.

Veiled insults aside I should explain myself.

I believe the German word for what you're looking for is "Schadensfreude".

I simply enjoy seeing TIM get pissy that's all. I don't trust him with the tech. I blow up the base. Had it been someone else I would have considered it.

"I'm sorry I'm getting a lot of bull**** on this line."
