They really nerfed the Tech Armor. I have to change things a bit.

However the Harrier is the greatest thing ever weapon wise. And it isn't as heavy as I thought it would be. Now all I need is the Carnifex and I'm all set.

A day in the life of a Post War Shepard?

Leviathan has fantastic atmosphere and a secondary character who gives Miranda a run for her money in sheer awesomeness.

This is just imo, but the best parts of Leviathan stem from 2 things. Leviathan's actual design, and the conversation you have with it. I won't spoil it, but they're both pretty cool. Leviathan physically looks awesome.

Ah, awesome! You're making me anticipate it that much more! Posted Image

A character almost as badass as Miranda, wow.

At least it didn't look like it went through a meat grinder. That was what I was expecting for some reason.

The Leviathan I mean.

Well, I had some BioWare points, so I bought this piece of crap they DLC in which BioWare made fun of some whiners of the BSN; the DLC didn't give all that much background info on the Reapers; the destroy ending was invalidated; and while Dr. Bryson is incredibly smart, comparing her to Miranda's level of awesomeness is just stupid.

No, no, she's not a bad ass and definitely can't be compared to Miranda, that was just jtav deifying another character just because she's inteligent.

Are you sure jtav is talking about Bryson? Bryson doesn't do... Anything to warrant the "badass" label.

Well, jtav never used the word bad ass. Besides, who else could it be?

"Badass" and "awesome" have almost identical meanings and are thus used interchangeably.

My other guess would be Leviathan itself.

I didn't say bad ass. I'm allergic to bad asses. Ann is awesome the way Kate Bowman is awesome: a civilian who acts very bravely.

My bad then, I always interpreted badass as being something diferent. Could be Leviathan, but I didn't find that thing to be awesome, just stupid.

Besides hiding away and potentially dying, what does Kate do that could even remotely be constituted as "brave"?

I would tend to think of "badass" as a subset of "awesome," I guess, mostly.

Something that's badass tends to be awesome.

But another thing can be awesome without necessarily being badass

Hm. Sheer awesomeness sounds like a synonym of badass to me.
But I should probably stop looking here for awhile before spoilers rain down on me. I'll be on Skype if you need me. Ahaha.

I think of "badass" as being exceptionally good in a fight or tough, and it's not a quality I particularly respect.

So you don't respect that Miranda can hold her own in a fight?

Yes, that's how I thought.

That's always how I interpreted the expression.

Well, that's true, but... sometimes it's used to just mean awesome, in a broader sense.

It's a bit like "epic," I guess. It has a specific meaning, but often people just use it as a synonym of "awesome."

"That was epic!" = "That was really cool!" = "That was badass!"

Pretty much. They can mean specific things, but not always.

I just noticed this.

How is Destroy invalidated? I certainly never got that idea. If anything, it makes Destroy seem to be a better choice than it already is.

SPOILER ALERT!

I'm not getting anything right today. Less desirable would be more appropriate, but basically with the Reapers gone, there will be nothing left to stop the leviathan from trying to dominate the galaxy again.
