Just too chime in--

I always have Miranda talk to her sister on Illium. I have a number of reasons.
1. I RP my canon Shepard as having budding feelings for Miranda before the time of the LM, and rescuing Oriana and allowing Miranda to talk to her were the two acts that made Miranda notice that he cares.
2. It's pretty clear that not very many people are genuinely nice to Miranda. Letting her talk to Oriana is simply the nice thing to do, regardless of romance intentions.
3. It takes a Grade-A douchebag to make Miranda not talk to Oriana. It's the only Renegade decision in the entire trilogy where I feel comfortable in saying "Wow, what an insufferable dick".

This is pretty bad...or hilarious, depending on your viewpoint. Not a "decision," but it is quite dick-ish.

. I also like the conversation after Eden Prime where you can be nice o Ashley, or question her competence, I noose the latter

I can't find that scene by itself, but it is in "Commander Shepard is a jerk." - 2:52 is where it starts

That part is absolutely hilarious.

"You questioned my competence through the entire mission."

"The best way to stop that is to show me you're competent!"

. Is there a Commander Shepard is a jerk for ME3 yet?  But anyways, it's very fun to mess with Ashley

Right after Eden Prime. Pick the two Renegade options for Ashley.

Shepard completely shuts her down. It's glorious if you hate Ashley like me.

It's not being a wuss. It's respecting a closed adoption. In the real world, I'd ask if Ori had ever shown any interest in her biological family. If she had, I'd beg Miranda to pass along contact info.

I'm sure Oriana wouldn't mind knowing that she had her biological sister there. It's not like a parent or anything who was on crack. And she's simply explaining who she is and her relationship with her. They're going to know that they're related due to the physical resemblance.

Why do you feel the need to be so negative towards Miranda all the time? Do you like her or hate her? Make up your mind.

I won't say it's insufferable though. I lol'd. I love how Ashley is just ignoring the dick things Shepard says.

I loved doing it in my main run. I have 2. They vary differently over the VS, and a few decisions. I hate having to be nice to Ashley though. The only reason I'm romancing her is to break her heart. Which is fine because she completely hurt me by calling me a traitor to my ideals on Horizon, and constantly ****ing about Cerberus in ME3. Her letter she sends you (you can find the narrated version on YT) after Horizon always makes me laugh bitterly. She's just trying to get me back. And her comment about Miranda was just plain nasty. That alone damns her to death. Miranda never once whined about me being forced back into the alliance, or about any decisions I made, trusting that I'd know what was best.

I only keep her alive past the coup for Marksman. Once I get that, I go to my other save, finish that game real quick, then upload Marksman on the next run through. Once thats good, it's back to the coup and killing Ashley (especially when she dies damning you to hell is best, because she's the only one going there. But the Reapers will join her soon enough). And how everyone forgets about her.

I love hating Ashley.

Same here. I don't really dislike Ashley (though I'm not a fan), but that scene is far too lulz-worthy to ignore.

I noticed the ME3 variant on that video in the sidebar.

That's why I can't ever play a Renegade.

My Shepard are jerks too Ash too. I don't dislike the character but for some reason I always do that. just like all my Shep choosing the b¡tchy line with Miranda before Freedom Progress and telling her that Shepard is in charge of the operation, not her when we first board the SR2.

Because ME3 Renegade Shepard turned into a complete psychopath? Yeah. I agree.

I tried starting a trilogy Renegade playthrough on ME, but I couldn't do it. I got to Noveria (after a few side missions) and just quit. It feels so...wrong. I don't want to be a glaxy-gaving dick; I want to be a galaxy-saving, white hat wearing hero. I can be Renegade with certain things, like that Ashley dialogue and Rear Admiral Mikhailovich (which is one of my favorite in the entire series), but not with big decisions and people I like in the crew.

Edit: ...and that he becomes a complete phychopath. That's another good one.

NSFW pictures aren't allowed with the img tags, I know that much. I think you can post hyperlinks to them though if you tell people beforehand that it's NSFW.

Also, now I have another picture to put into my handy-dandy folder....

I'm not sure what Shepard or Miranda say about not talking to Oriana (I always encourage it) but I can see the reasoning behind it.

Renegade changed a lot from ME2 to ME3.

A lot of the time in conversations it's a troll option in ME2. They're hilarious.

They're simply grim in ME3.

Anyway Post War Pics for Shepard and Miranda are great. This is one of my favorites:

You're right, and it's frustrating. Even in ME1 they were troll options.

But even the Paragon options in ME3 are grim.

I did it once.

With unmitigated glee.
