Yes I am.

And I am drunk.

The guitar playing is stronger in the LB recording. It's not as accoustic and passive. Those are terrible descriptions, but I stand by them.

COME AT ME BRO

The ****?

Pete Townsend is one of the best guitar players around.

Who's next on your chopping block? Jimmy Page?

oh, agreed.  LB isn't on the Who's level.  But, the studio recording of LB's version is better.

And don't appeal to which band is better.  ART is full of one-hit wonders who did one great thing among a sea of crap.

I'm saying LB's recording of that song is better than the Who's studio recording of that song.

The Who is still all-time great, and LB is rap-metal mediocrity.

The other Limp Bizkit song I like.

Introduced to this through the Austin-Rock WM17 promo.

Yes, wrestling.

...I actually like a lot of LB, even though I know it's not good.

I loved that WM build up, and that song.

Have you heard Crack Addict?  (they used it for WM 19)  AMAZING.

Krukow - Yeah, I've heard it. WWE usually does a good job with Wrestlemania theme songs; Big Time by Peter Gabriel is my favorite. Now that I think of it, In Your Eyes would be a good song for Miranda and Shepard. No John Cusack with boom boxes, though.

Okay. No more OT; #MoreMiranda.

I'm always here.

Hmmmm, Miri topic:

Do her and Jack ever become friendly?

I imagine it would be pretty hard for them to become friendly, especially from Jack's POV. There's some pretty deep-rooted animosity there, since Miranda was such a loyalist to Cerberus. I think Jack's view on things changes after the SM (believe she says something of that ilk in Purgatory), so I think it could be possible.

I don't see BFF's in their future, but I could see them getting along in a professional capacity; if they were ever to work together again.

Friendly? Perhaps not. But they're already professional enough to help each other up, for instance on the Collector ship in ME2.

I think you all underestimate the importance of surviving a suicide mission together.

I'm still friends with guys I played football with in college, and that was football. Not a suicide mission.

I think the SM would bond everyone more than we're admitting...

I'm sure there would be a bond there, being among the few people who went into the Omega 4 relay and came out of the other side, but I don't think Miranda and Jack will be powwowing together and doing lunch.

I disagree.  It's like war buddies.  Their religion/lifestyle/etc don't matter.  They still get together and love each other because they went through THAT.

I think Jack would smugly harass Miranda about Cerberus being very bad after all even her beloved Illusive Man. However I don't think they would be enemies. Jack would hopefully realize Miranda left Cerberus, fought against them and liberated one of their most heinous facilities. Miranda on the other hand would hopefully realize Jack has come to grips with her past, and has used her skills/past to better society and others lives, rather than having a my life has sucked, so eff you attitude.

Basically at the end of the day. I see them being nice to each other, but I don't think they're going to be involved in each others life. They would be war friends that maybe only talked to one another at events/parties. And it would mostly be verbal jabs/friendly bull****ting at one another.

I very much see professional respect but no real personal fondness between.

I'm still thinking that all this Miranda/Jack dynamics are forced. During ME2 Jacob and Miranda were not even part of "the Lost", they were the Cerberus officers on board to keep the ship under control, especially Miranda. Yeah, the Suicide Mission surely united that crew, but they were always at a safe "emotional distance" from the rest of the bandits, mercenaries and assassins on the ship.

I can see Kasumi wanting to know about Jacob, or even Grunt wanting to know what destruction Jack has caused, but Miranda was "distant"  the whole time. The simple reason that they were enemy (because of obvious reasons) does not mean that they will end up having some kind of bound.

In real life, when one of your enemy disappear, you just don't want to see his face. "Love/hate" relationships are exceptions, not the rule.

No one's saying that they keep in regular contact. Just that if they were to encounter one another, they might be that way. And it would make for an interesting dynamic.

Jack and Miranda would probably never become "friends", but they could feasibly become coworkers who operate well together.

It would have been really interesting if ME2 had custom dialogue on this front if you took Miranda and Jack as your pair to fight the Terminator/Reaper. I think that Miranda resigning (and how she resigned) would have gotten her points in Jack's book.

Miranda: ... Or what, you'll replace me next?

TIM: I gave you an order, Miranda!

M: I noticed. Consider this my resignation. *hangs up*

Jack: You still might be a total b**ch, but I think I like the new you.

. Is that the real dialogue or head canon?

Made-up. Jack remains silent during the whole thing, which feels odd considering how much she hates Cerberus, regardless of Miranda's presence.

Yes, as do all squad members. She also has dialogue for the TIM convo. For every squaddie except Miranda, they will only speak up if Shep wants to take the opposite course. So Jack speaks up if you want to keep the base. Miranda speaks up only if you already want to destroy it.

Exactly my point. You'd figure she'd (Jack) take the opportunity to say SOMETHING to TIM, at least, all things considered. Then add on the fact that Miranda resigning is the first "non-cheerleader" thing Jack has likely seen her do.

Totally a missed opportunity IMO

The first 3 lines are in-game, the last I just made up.
