Yep, I like that part about Miranda. Speaking as if Miranda's dead, not so much. It feeds my suspicion that Miranda was planned to die at some point, which I'd greatly resent if it were true. If it's just a mistake, it's not a big deal.jtav wrote...
Design oversight. It's still a good look into Tali's mind and a fairly accurate summation of Miranda. It also makes a good point that it's better for Miranda to be respected than merely liked.
It's more evidence to how "hard" they tried when making Mass Effect 3.
It's a statement that can't be made enough, and I don't think anyone disagrees at all with it. Mass Effect 3 needed at least another year and a half in development.
It would still be aimed at the wrong crowd with the same terrible lead writer. I would still have the kid on Earth, forced feelings, synthetics-vs-organics nonsene, auto-dialogue and many other issues.
Only thing I can imagine especially for the place I am talking here: It would have probably fixed Miranda to some point. They recognized the dissatisfaction while the game was already nearly finsihed and just had the time to add a lousy letter now. A year more might have given them more options.
I don't disagree at all. Add it with my list I just posted.
