I see Miranda and Grunt have things in common.

Dr. Doctor did an excellent dialogue on that at one point =]

I remember that. Posted Image

Speaking of Flemm, you need to start using the wizard again.

It's true that it's a sensitive topic, and perhaps best avoided as a point of comparison for that reason. Having said that, there's was really nothing inappropriate about BringBackNihlus' comments.

Yay or Nay on this picture?

Yay. No doubt.

I second that.

(Whaddya mean late to the party? Pffft. It's never too late to appreciate fanart! Nope!)

Oh and uh, wait...did i just de-lurk in the Miranda thread? Oh well, it was inevitable.

So, uh...hi Miranda-fans! So er, I'm not technically a Mirimancer*, but I still like her. A lot.
And as such; Miranda fanart = Emeraldfern approves!

It seems any resistance** against the intelligent Operative Lawson is futile, no? Posted Image

*/ When I do get around to play a Male-Shep, Miranda will probably my preferred LI of choice for him.

(Oh, er I hope I didn't de-lurk at an inconvenient time)

People who don't post in this thread are aware of what's happening in here. And they're very angry at certain people in here. I want everyone to know that.

And I'm dead serious about that. No subliminal wordplay from me.

Well, look, I really can't get on board with this type of thing.

"People" who don't post are angry with "certain people" who do post...

If you're trying to be direct, you're not doing a good job of it.

Everybody can have their opinion, and it really doesn't matter if "people" don't like it B)

Eh...why would people who don't post here be pissed at some that do? Speaking of which...I have a troll all over my fanfic who says he's a regular in this thread. I know for a fact that my first few chapters are OOC, but I just don't have the damn time to rewrite them. Balancing a job with studying tends to kill time pretty effin' quick.

I can imagine several users that would ****** me off.

I think the first time I delurked here, it was to disagree with something a certain user who likes to spam the emoticons wrote that was completely unrelated to Miranda.

Taboo, don't take this the wrong way, but it's very annoying when you do this. If you don't want to say the whole story that's fine, but no reason for bringing it up.

Also, we're not saying anything all that bad here and we certainly shouldn't care about what a few lurkers think of us. We gave them no reason to be angry.

No one can see a character the exact same way. OOC is a silly thing to argue because anyone can really make any argument they want. It doesn't matter how absurd it is either. It's became rather evident to me that certain things did not go challenged for an extended period of time. This is why things become so hostile when people are challenged in here.

And it will happen again.

And that's fine. Disagreeing is good

And if there is another emoticon-hating individual out there, then I'd be happy to hear from that person on the subject also :)

Agreed. Looking at certain users who've been here since the pages inception has made me realize how out of touch the lot of them were.

You have no idea how wrong you are about that.

I personally argued with Ieldra about the Collector Base for pages and pages last fall. It was a running joke.

Miranda fans have always disagreed vehemently about certain things. Including well before I started posting, which was over a year ago.

It's better, though, to try to understand where other posters are coming from. Usually, everyone has something of value to contribute.

It fills my heart with glee for someone to write that.  there are times I have to get away from this threat less it's posters make me hate miranda and kill her on the SM.

So thank you.  Even though you virmire Ashley and are clearly worse than Hitler.

I do 2 runthroughs, one with either VS, both the exact same otherwise (a few dialogue choices different here and there.)

At least Ashley gives you marksman. I'm in the middle of the Ashley lives (LI also runthrough).

It's painful...

Must. Suck. It. Up. For. Marksman.

I don't take offense. I simply want people to know what's going on. I'm not direct because I don't want to offend anyone. If I said "So and so said X about who while lurking" we might have an issue.

People are angry and if it continues they won't say something to me, they'll say it to someone else higher up. I'm just a proxy.

Understand?

But seriously, I'm glad there are other miri fans don't just see her as a heartless b*tch who cares only about the ends.  The means matter.  Human life matters to her.

Why would they care though if they aren't even Mirimancers? And the only way a higher-up would even care is if we're doing something against BSN rules.

Agreed. I like Miri because she's a Renegon. She'll go far to make sure things are done for the greater good. She fights for what's right, not her own selfish goals.

And she cares about her loved ones like Shepard and Ori. Miranda does have a conscience, like some of her haters may not believe.

It's a mad house in here. And people have been breaking rules.

I'm just relaying what people have said in PM that's all.

I suppose the mid point for Neutral Shepard's is just called Neutral yes?

No fancy nomenclature?

That's all I've heard. Though unless he's in the exact middle, he could be Paragade or Renegon.

Well, that's fine.

But if somebody says, "Miranda would more likely value the lives that could be saved by keeping the base over honoring those who already died by destroying it," it's important to acknowledge that this is no way implies that she doesn't value human life, or that she shouldn't value it.

It just doesn't imply that. And keeping the base is a decision that Shepard can make in the game as well, for similar reasons. And Shepards who make that choice don't necessarily make it because they don't value human life.

Just because someone doesn't post in here doesn't mean they're not a fan of Miranda. The character threads tend to cater to romancers, but there are probably a lot of people who don't romance Miranda, but enjoy the character. I'm somewhat in that catagory.

And I can see them not enjoying robofascist, who would never care that six digits of humans were killed when she could get a new techy weapon to use against the reapers.
