So someone pointed this out on the story forum.
Sounds a LOT like a Leviathan.
Thank you for this, Taboo-xx. I just read it and wow it really does seem very similar. Bookmarked it.

On another topic you posted way back...
My Shepard is all for helping Aria with Omega but seriously Bioware/EA... My initial reaction to this is...My cannon Shepard has no *interest* in screwing Aria... I want *my* Shepard to actually be *faithful* to Miranda Lawson and get
more of them *together* working on missions or more interestingly I wanted to see *my* Shepard romancing her. I got the bare minimum! I like the Miranda in ME2 and ME3 but it needs more interaction... more content... more showing her doing these tasks of her taking down those Cerberus bases, working on gathering her group of people! Talking more/meeting with Shepard! He's too damn lonely in ME3 without her!
How'd she react, how'd they come together/work together as a couple. But no... I have to head-cannon all of this instead. Thanks! (I know, it's just a game but still... it's a world I been fascinated with for several years since they launched the game...!)
Aria and Shepard:
I see this as nothing more pandering to the male egos to **** every alien in the mass effect universe. I've read many post of gamers wanting more LI's... really? You don't want romances you just want your Shepard to **** everything they can because they are the 'god damn heroes' - to phrase it like Zaeed...
I'm a female gamer, Bioware! But I've always played the male version in lots of Bioware games because *they* have more options quite frankly... I have yet to complete my female playthrough in ME2... I was thinking, way back, romancing Garrus or Thane but we'll see...
MaleShep is more fun. I can honestly say, I love my Shepard even if he's stupid and clueless sometimes.
Some of my most favorite couples in tv have been the two leading (I feel) protagonists... Chuck and Sarah, Mulder and Scully, Bones and Booth, John and Aeryn from Farscape. I like those type of relationships.
Miranda and Shepard had that vibe. They didn't like each other at first but then grew to like them and then love them.
I wonder if any games in the future will give the female gamers a bit more choices and romance aspects... Guess I'll just have to go read more books.
