Did she ninjamance you in ME1 or something? I've never heard this.

Perhaps it's because I haven't cared to look.

That's because you romanced Ashley.

Just wish the scene would account for those of us who Romanced Someone else in ME2 and wish to keep it that way... : /

I will concede that ME3 does make the ME2 romances feel a little less than valid.  Not invalid, per say, but less valid.  It definately makes ME1 more important than ME2.  I mean, at least when the Dark Knight series did that, it was because the joker died.  Did some voice talent from ME2 die?

Yep. I romanced her in 1 since Ashley dies in my canon and then I outright rejected her in ME2:LotSB.

So...This makes no sense....

It feels like...

Liara: "Shepard...The script says that you're supposed to stare at my boobs..."

Shepard: "Why? I'm with Miranda."

Liara: "Someone actually had a romance in ME2?!" D:

Player: *facepalm*

^ There's your issue Lance. Liara just doesn't take rejection well it seems.

As for that all woman squad. I'd have taken that. Can you imagine if Kaidan had been the VS though?

I would not have put this past bioware given their semi-blatant hatred of straight femshep...

Lack of Javik is unacceptable though...

Mordin is the mostly likely person to die in the SM and he has a very prominant ME3 role.

Genophage is a big deal (mentioned in ME1 from Wrex view and ME2 from Mordin) and he's part of it.  Also written by great writers: Weekes and Dombrow.

LanceSolous13 wrote...
Legion isn't as easy to kill as far as I know but he also has an important role.

Also part of a huge arc.  His replacement is the same model with (except that holographic stuff) and the same VA (just different lines).

Garrus and Tali are Squadies.

Fan Favorites (maybe not to you but they are)

"They could be dead" doesn't fly at all.

Not saying it does but that's how I see how things played out for ME3

Cerberus didn't get that kind of arc in ME3.  If it had we wouldn't be here discussing how Miranda had little dialog for Cerberus.

Ashley/Kaidan
Garrus
Tali
Liara
Javik
Vega
Miranda
Jack
Jacob
EDI

All the important LIs should have been included. I omit Thane because he was dying. MANY disagree with me, and that's cool, but in my squad I'm okay with the logical conclusion to his arc.

I can only hope that we get some of the things they were planning on putting in if they had had more time.

Omega is the obvious answer.

would you want Miranda included in Omega though? I mean, obviously if it's Omega or nothing, you choose Omega. If she's included in Omega though, you know she takes a back seat to Aria.

Personally, I'm holding out hope for her to be a part of whatever third DLC they create. Plus it makes sense then, when the interested people will be mostly what's left of the hard-core fanbase who would want character centric stuff...

....You're inclusion of the word 'logical' feels extremely insulting.

Anyways, regardless, Mordin is the most likely to die in the SM and has a large role. Weather it was built up to or not isn't the point. Weather Garrus and Tali are fan-favorites is also besides the point.

Its also absolutely pointless to make 12 characters very important for one game and then make them disappear the next installment.

No I'd like the Omega DLC to focus on Aria.

If they have one for Miranda they should do one about just her or pair her with someone like Jack.

Miranda and Jack together would be one hell of a DLC.

How would you pair them, though?

Like, I could see it and it would be a fun dynamic, but what kind of story do you write for that?

Cerberus. Have them involved in a huge Cerberus DLC. Maybe take down a Cerberus ship? Maybe take down a base to aid the war effort? Cerberus has been a big part of both of their lives. Why not take care of three issues at once?

Well, if there's any further appearances by Miranda or ME2 squad, then it will be something a little different than has been done before.

It's hard to say how it would work, really. It's the kind of thing that can only be addressed on the dev side. I hope they come up with something good =]

The problem with Cerberus, IMO, is that it's already been done to death. It would almost feel like overkill. Plus, EDI already gets the important Cerberus mission, so I fear it would feel kind of pointless?

I mean, yeah, I'd buy it in a heartbeat and love every second of it, but I just don't think there's a cerberus story left to tell that does them Justice...

I don't think so, really. If anything, I think the Cerberus part of the story needed to be deeper than it was. Sure, we see Leng and drone troopers a lot throughout the game, but from a story perspective, it's all pretty thin.

That's partly because the characters with the deepest attachment, Miranda and Jack, don't have much of a presence there. So, a DLC story could certainly provide that.

It's really a mechanical issue. The whole "might be dead" thing just makes everything a pain. I hope they find a way to get around it, but it's hard to say how it would work, exactly.

They have a "Myaaaah" villain vibe to them. As for Kai Leng they couldn't have presented a supposed bad ass in a poorer light.

What it needs is Ex-Cerberus people coming against them and saying "We left because of X." "This is not what it used to be."

And so forth.

But please no more Kai Leng Bioware. No more.

Yeah. I really would have preferred to see this as part of Miranda's content in the core game. But, since we didn't, hopefully in DLC.

Hmmm, maybe like a history of cerberus DLC? LIke, you wouldn't call it that, and there would be some sort of video game goal, but you explore how cerberus came to be what it becamse. Sort of bridge the gap between humanity first morally amibuous group to space fascists? Maybe show that some stuff was going on that Miranda wasn't aware of (you don't develop the technology to indoctrinate your whole military force in six months, that stuff was going on while she was there).

I dunno, I guess I could see it...

Then then you could probably argue whether Bioware made the games more self contained than actual sequels of each other?

I wasn't expecting much for Zaeed and Kasumi and they are favorites of mine (more than some of the other squadmates)
