But everyone agrees that we don't need more Kai Leng right?

Maybe Miranda eating a bowl of cereal on his corpse.

But beyond that, I can't really think of anything =]

How would you pair them, though?

Like, I could see it and it would be a fun dynamic, but what kind of story do you write for that?

*sigh*

Shepard gets intell on a Cerberus Cell operating in the Terminus Systems. After investigating the first base, which is heavily obliterated and a load of dead bodies, Shepard finds Miranda investigating the ruins. She reveals to Shepard she is also investigating the Cerberus Cell; Project Pheonix. She was investigating a series of Cerberus kidnappings from Colonies. Thousands have gone missing and she tracted them to this Cerberus base. Project Pheonix was also her previous cell before she was moved to Project Lazerus. The two investigate the base and find data on other Cerberus Bases and Miranda joins Shepard on the Normandy.

At the next base, the place is crawling with Cerberus but they're already fighting someone. Making their way through the base, Miranda and Shepard meet up with Jack. Jack and Miranda become perma-Squadies for the duration of the Mission Arc. The Crew fight their way through the base and finally meet Project Pheonix. They've been fighting of Cerberus for weeks now and were nearly out of supplies. They reveal that Cerberus had been planning to use Project Pheonix to build an unstobable Biotic Army. Jack and Miranda agree that this needs to be eliminated. They also reveal that they aren't the only Project Pheonix group out there and they got seperated. The crew and the Project Pheonix team get on the Normandy and head for the other Cerberus base. However, Project Pheonix is too exhausted from weeks of fighting to join Jack and Miranda off the Normandy.

Once they arrive, Its obvious that Cerberus has beaten them to the punch and their Biotic Army is being built by the thousands. Shepard, Jack, and Miranda engage in a gaint battle full of Biotic Explosions (The Biotic Army will be using them against you). After battling their way through the Biotics, the building is unstable and falling apart. Miranda tries to get the data she can to help in the war effort. If Shepard has a High Enough Paragon/Renegade Score, Shepard will get Miranda out of the building before it colapses (Not sure if I like this bit). If requirements are not met, Miranda refuses to leave until she has the data and the building colapses with her inside. However, she was able to forward the data to the Normandy which really boosts your war assets.

If Miranda survived, Project Pheonix asks her to command them against Cerberus. Insert some dialogue that really shows Miranda as a good leader for the Pheonix group and forshadowing her taking Mr. Illusive's Place after Cerberus is nothing more than ashes. Miranda will now appear on Earth with Project Pheonix and be able to join Shepard on the Bam Rush. Jack, now that her Biotics have been shipped off to Earth, joins Miranda with Project Pheonix. Jack now appears on Earth and is able to attend the Beam Rush.

Endings slides show Miranda sitting behind a desk, looking over schematics for what looks like a Biotic Amp with a giant "Pheonix" Emblem on the wall. Jack is shown in a seperate slide either commanding her Biotic Kids or crying at their graves (This scene never seems to play for me).

Obviously, I need more fluff and I give Miranda more a role than Jack., but I think its a great start.

Hmmm, maybe like a history of cerberus DLC? LIke, you wouldn't call it that, and there would be some sort of video game goal, but you explore how cerberus came to be what it becamse. Sort of bridge the gap between humanity first morally amibuous group to space fascists? Maybe show that some stuff was going on that Miranda wasn't aware of (you don't develop the technology to indoctrinate your whole military force in six months, that stuff was going on while she was there).

I dunno, I guess I could see it...

Yeeeeeees but what you just described makes sense. No one at Bioware wants that.

Mac Walters DID put exposition in a falling action. That's a HUGE no no.

You're my boy Weekes. I hope you can get something done.

I agree on that one. Thane and Ashley need it.

EDIT: No comments on Mass Effect: Pheonix?

20 bucks says that if Mac Walters is allowed to write another DLC for Mass Effect 3, it'll be one following Liara after the crap tricolored ending. The only color they could've put in there to make me happy would be pink.

you "sigh"'d me!!

Edit:
That was pretty good.  Not sure about Miranda dying, some people might rage, but you give the opportunity to save her, so that's cool.

The only problem I can forsee is that you're not allowed to bring any of your favorite squadmembers along.  I can see this being the nature of the beast (it's a 2 character DLC), but some people might be miffed they can't bring space troll.

Also, might want to call it something else, a lot of people around here use project phoenix for their headcanon, might not like it being a part of original cerberus?

Man, this sounds really critical, but I liked it!  Good use of both characters, though I think it's interesting only Jack can join for the beam rush (unless I misread you).

I'd buy it.

I like the Phoenix. It's just ham-fisted enough to work in the ME3 story aftermath.

But you'd need fun names for everything involved. Because you can find the Phoenix in multiple cultures you can take from many sources.

How ****ing dumb do I sound? LOL

No I'd like the Omega DLC to focus on Aria.

If they have one for Miranda they should do one about just her or pair her with someone like Jack.

Miranda and Jack together would be one hell of a DLC.

NO. Miranda and Jacob.

Phantom: That Kai Leng he can fuss.

Pilot: Fuss, fuss....I think he likes to scream at us.

Phantom: Probably  he means no harm.

Pilot: He's really very short on charm.

Phantom: You've got a great gift for rhyme.

Pilot: Yes, yes, some of the time.

Kai Leng: Enough of that!

Phantom: Pilot, is that a tower ahead?

Pilot: If it is we'll all be dead.

Kai Leng: No more rhyming! I mean it!!

Phantom: Anybody want a peanut?

Kai Leng: AAAAARGH!

Ever since the Pheonix has been in MP I have wanted it to be involved in SP in some way. Your idea is incredibly enticing. Definitely great DLC material.

Did you notice that they're all women?

They'd have gotten **** done. I would have been fine with this squad.

ALL THE LADIES!

*double image snip*

Well, all we need is for FemShep to be leader of the squad to complete the ultimate girl power team. However, for 7 days every month, they turn into the ultimate juggernauts of utter destruction that send even Harbinger and Wrex running in terror. Cause when there are a group of females who spend time living together, God has a sense of humor. It's freakin' synchronised.

Yes. Women's menstral cycles do synchronize when they live together. Most Fascniating.

But I don't think Asari menstrate though so you're **** out of luck there.
