There aren't going to be any movie theaters now.

We're going to go digital in twenty or so years.

Shepard and Miranda can watch whatever they want from the comfort of a bed. Anything. And I think that that would be so cool.

Fair enough, but I still disagree. She values him as a person, but nothing more.

She's just keeping a promise (or something? never fully understood that dialogue).

Though you're welcome to headcanon Miranda being in love with Jacob. I won't tell you what to do :)

NOW YOU'RE PISSIN' ME OFF

I agree; she just values him as a friend now; She is Shepard's.

Don't blame me for your headcanon :)

I just think Miranda is the type that doesn't get close very often, but is very loyal once she is.

It's really weird, cuz you could maybe argue Jacob is her only real friend pre ME2.  They both work together on that station (cerberus is huge and he could be anywhere), and she does value him.  Plus, there's no romantic misunderstanding as happens with m/f friends sometimes (jacob makes this clear).

So yeah, it's possible Jacob's her only friend.  Though not BFF doing sleepovers and painting nails and whatnot...

I had a hilarious "rustling" picture but you've gone and ruined it.

You can have this on topic Miranda and Shepard picture instead.

She doesn't really have friends krukow. She has dialogue that suggests she has no one outside of Cerberus or out of people working for Shepard. It's painful to listen to.

Jacob is cerberus.

And I'm not saying they're best friends for life, but they do have some reciprical value to each other.

And ME3 dialogue won't totally dissuade me from this.  Both characters were a bit buggard in ME3 (plus, she could have omitted Jacob because he wasn't in a position to help anyone.  And his character was just ruined.  Thanemancers have no complaints compared to the (5 total) jacobmancers).

Yes Jacob is included in there. That's why I said Cerberus and people who work for Shepard. That's what she says.

"Friends" is open to interpretation. You don't ever hear anyone but Jacob talk about her in anything but a professional manner. And even he has apprehensions.

It's really up to the player. I won't take a side here because we don't really know for certain. It makes me sad that's all.

True, I'm just saying it's possible he's the only one.

Maybe a work buddy?

Do you think she considered TIM a friend at all? At least in the begining? There's a hint of betrayal when she quits at the end ("you'll have me replaced next??")

She did have Niket, but we all know how that turned out.

It is painful, I agree. I couldn't imagine growing up like that. You are either utterly destroyed by that or forged into the woman that Miranda became.

I always imagined that TIM was something of a pseudo-father figure to Miranda. Considering how awful her actual father was. It might explain some of her absolute devotion to Cerberus anyway...
idk. Just my two cents.

I saw it as a pure business realtionship. There is no indication it was anything else and I have no reason to believe it was.

What he became is not the Cerberus she wanted to be a part of and that is why she quits.

When the war is over and Shepard is with her they can form something from the ashes of Cerberus. Not the same thing mind you but something that will benefit humanity.

Public departments. Sciene departments. Military Departments. Covert Op departments.

They have to do something. I don't see Shepard and Miranda retiring for the next hundred years on some random planet. They need to do something.

Well, I don't think it was every anything too personal, but I think Miranda saw someone like herself in TIM, and at the very least had a professional respect.

But I could see her considering him a friend. He's like her (at least initially, very much not so later).

"Friend" implies certain things I won't get into because it's late.

"Blah blah chemicals. Blah blah Taboo rant."

We don't know. It's open to...INTERPRETATION.

"friend" only implies things to the immature.

I'm friends with girls I haven't slept with.  Usually because I wanted to sleep with their roomate/friend, but still!  That was how I met them and they were still awesome.

You can be friends with a girl.

I think Miranda may have considered TIM somewhat a friend early on in ME2.

Oh God you've been talking about me on Skype or something haven't you? Now I'm embarresed.

If someone were to make a "Shepard deserves fabulous outfits" banner with David Bowie on it I would die a happy man.

Well, mr cryptic, nobody knows what you mean 76% of the time anyways, so I stand by my statement.

If you want people to react to you properly, say what you mean.

Most of the time I don't care. As I said I was tired.

I'm much more personable when I speak. Everyone here should prepare for that.
