In military vernacular, shot implies artillery.

A rocket is still a valid term for it.

This.

He gets impaled by a steel girder because he didn't upgrade the Normandy cannon. There is no shot in the head.

I dunno about you guys, but Tali seems to be a magnet for Harby's 360 noscope biotic headshots at the Collector Base every time.

Probably the same reason I advised another poster to kill Miranda. The game doesn't let you RP being coolly professional. It's either death or best pals. So if "no Shepard without Vakarian" is OOC for a particular Shep, Garrus dies.

And perhaps we better drop this?

Pro Tip: Don't talk to squadmates if you don't want to be best pals.

Easier to just kill those you dislike. And considering Miranda's long death scene had me doubled over in hysterical laughter the first time I saw it because it was so obviously done with the romance in mind, I consider SM death a valid solution to RP problems.

Which doesn't mean Alex doesn't love her with all his heart. But some people hate her. I'd actually call that a mark of success.

Can you believe that Red vs. Blue has been on for over ten years?

I haven't played a Halo game in a while, the last one I played was Reach but when I get a new Xbox you can bet that I'll get Halo 4.

Wait so purposefully going out of your way to do the derp thing on the suicide mission, is somehow harder than... not going into a room and clicking on a NPC?

Help me here...

That would work - if the offending parts were always located in an avoidable conversation. But they aren't.
So yeah, it's easier to just kill someone than to go over the game and check if those parts you'd like to avoid can be avoided.

Unfortunately, that doesn't work with Anderson.

They can't be that offensive to you right? I play a neutral character and I don't have issues with any squadmates on my end.

Garrus? Javik? Liara?

Just don't talk to them and pass it off as an inconsistent consistency. It happens all the time.

@Taboo:
You've read the debates of the last few days and you think a line said by Shepard or some character can't be that offensive to me?

Every time I play the prologue, I get close to shutting the game down again because that's not my Shepard talking to Anderson. So yes, some lines *are* that offensive. Unfortunately, none of my candidates can be removed by avoiding a conversation or killing someone off, or I'd do it in a heartbeat. The dreams are the worst. I HATE vent kid.

See that's funny...Jacob always seemed to be on the other end for me. However I always send Tali to her death (literally) by making her the crew escort.

The suicide mission is just a lot less fun without SOME casualties.
