You must dream about the small child on Earth. It's SO DEEP.

You know, out of context, that dream is just Shepard chasing down a little boy who's trying desperately to get away from him.

You could totally head canon that Shepard's just a bad human being...

That's quite disturbing.

IS THE STORY JUST "TOO DEEP" FOR YOU?

It's a load of bollocks I say.

"Here's a symbol for everyone you can't save!"

As if I didn't already know what was at stake for ****s sake!

Obviously your thoughts weren't provoked like they should have been.

Hell of a lineup in that movie too, iirc.

He plays a very out of place alien in The Man Who Fell to Earth. Watch out for that one. It's as bat**** crazy as it fabulous.

You will know what the main actors look like (every inch of them) by the end of the picture. Whether or not that is a good thing is up to you.

And yes, there ARE fabulous outfits.

Freddie Mercury's outfits are far more fabulous than David Bowie's.

True story.

Freddie Mercury would not have existed without David Bowie. Bowie was one of the forerunners of Glam Rock and without him leading that movement there would have been no Freddie or Queen for that matter. Bowie made theatricality part of the show. No one had ever done that to that extent before.

The Glass Spider tour itself inspired countless knock offs. He was the first.

This is a fact and is not debatable.

To get back on topic, what kind of music do you think Miranda would be into? I'd like to think she'd appreciate rock, new and old.

I don't know if you're a fan of sports at all, but that's like saying George Mikan is better than Hakeem Olajuwon simply because he was seen as a pioneer of big man basketball; just because Bowie was a forerunner of the style Freddie embodied doesn't mean he's better or more fabulous.

If not for Mr. Bowie, someone else would have come along and been that forerunner. Maybe Freddie. Maybe someone else.

It was decided that she likea David Bowie. This was voted upon in this thread. Dead serious.

So that puts her in the Rock department.

Bowie had influences too. Frank Sinatra was one. Ben King was another. Early Jazz and Soul. But the one that had the most influence on his lyrics was Bob Dylan. That's why they're so abstract and cryptic. He writes just like Dylan does.

Of course. Every musician takes bits and pieces of the artists they look up to/grew up with.

Sorry for dragging OT. I think I do that more than anyone.

Haha. Inconceivable!

Personally, I can see why the Cerberus-related characters never really got an arc. Because it's all black-and-white, there's no decision to be made like with the genophage or geth/quarian bits. It's just 'go kill all the Cerberus. DO IT'. Shame, really.

Haven't we all awaited a decision like this: Miranda takes over what remains of Cerberus, repurposing it to help Shepard in the war, or destroys it completely? If Jacob and Kelly (!!!!) can grant us ex-Cerberus resources, why can't Miranda?

It escapes my comprehension that they didn't go that route with her.

Yep i was so sure that this was just missing from the leaked material and would be in the final product. At least the Cerberus renegades e-mail even if its not fleshed out as it should have been. Come on Omega! Miranda recruiting petrovsky to her gang please!

EDIT: I saw that BBN agrees.   :wizard:

Don't mean to get off topic...but I wanted to invite anyone active on ME3 multiplayer on Xbox, or plans to partake in Operation Vigilance to add me. I'm tired of playing with random's. Only makes sense to try to add friends who support Miranda.

Xbox GT = Kings2387
