I probably should know the answer to this one. But Im gonna ask anywhy.

Since Miri is enginered with perfect genes. Were she never given birth the old fashion way, or was she grown in a tank/test tube like Grunt?

I assume paid for surrogate mum but artficial womb is another option Henry may have used.

I'd say artificial womb, simply because Henry might have more control over that aspect as well.

That's certainly something to think about. An artificial womb. A fascinating concept. What would it be comprised of? So many possibilities.

I'm getting an Alien vibe here and I don't know why. Perhaps it's the whole fleshy sack thing.

Except that this fleshy sack didn't give birth to one of those horrid Facehuggers.

Miranda just simultaneously spawned into life as an adult.

I'm with artificial womb too. That way Henry could control every variable regarding the development of the fetus.

Mmmm... I think this extract from another site can explain what I want to say (gundam wiki, regarding coordinators)

"Another potential flaw to Coordinators is that there is a discrepancy between how a Coordinator fetus is intended to develop and how the child really turns out. In many cases unwanted genetic traits would appear in the baby, arguably due to the inability of the mother's womb to pose as an adequate environment to support the genetic modifications."

btw, I'm preparing some renders to celebrate the 3k pages...

. Maybe a surrogate mother paid by Henry Lawson?

I have an image in my head of a pulsating flesh sack in a room somewhere in the Lawson mansion or whatever.

That isn't correct or really viable but that's what I'm seeing in my head.

So Miranda was spawned similar to the Uruk-hai?

Huh...

Taboo, you could just picture her development like Grunt's. :P

And now you have me looking at my H.R Giger art. Frightening things. Awful. Wonderful. Things that come from nightmares and the darkest recesses of our minds. You can't post a lot of it.

Also this.

Quite.

I don't care to be honest. She'd have been great in clothing like everyone else. It's not my fault she looks that way.

Etc., etc., but this is fan art. Not artwork from the game. Your objection is noted, but invalid.

Liara's is the same way. There is no reason for this to even be an issue.

It's fanart, presumably by someone who had only the inclination or skill to pose an existing character model not completely redesign one. Let's not make an issue of this.

^ This is why I support FABULOUS outfits. Everyone wins.

I don't know why I don't these Giger books around. Always liked his stuff. Not really a thing I'd put in my living room though.

All I'm seeing is this disgusting flesh sack in the middle of a room.

Heh, I didn't mean she was grown in completely the same way!

I just meant it might be better for Taboo to picture a tank rather than some Giger-like monstrosity.

Playing ME2 again really makes me wish that Okeer could be brought onto the Normandy. His motivation to create a "perfect" example of his species is similar to Henry Lawson's and this could have led to some neat interaction between Okeer and Miranda.

One of the differences betwen Okeer and Henry is that Okeer will die to protect his legacy. Henry will sacrifice his legacy to protect himself.

Isn't Henry more interested in creating the perfect version of him? Like, Miranda isn't pure human, she's pure Lawson?

Okeer was awesome. At least his voice actor.

Also, I just re-read the Shadow Broker dossiers since I never paid much attention to them. Pretty hilarious. But, I won't fire up that debate again. :P
