"I'll always want you in my life." Miranda Lawson in Mass Effect 3

He's always struck me as rather impatient, to be honest. Or maybe direct is the word I want. 'Cerberus is different. When colonies go missing they don't comission a team to write a report to figure out what the hell to do about it, they just go and find out.'
Miranda does have a pretty high wall around her personal life, after all, and Jacob seems like the kind of guy who likes to keep things simple. I could be entirely wrong, of course. I've never played a femshep so my impression of him is based totally on non-romance dialogue with a male Shepard.

This is not the original design of Miranda for ME2, but the design used for ME galaxy (not based on Yvonne, due to the reasons explained by the artist on the deviantart page).
I'm glad they used Yvonne's face for ME2.

Yes, that's exactly the impression I got. Supported, btw, by him saying "If I knew what makes her tick, I'd be with her....or dead."MyOpinionSucks wrote...
I've always assumed the 'She requires a better man than me' line meant that while Jacob still has some sort of undefined feelings left for Miranda she's too complicated for him to deal with.

Why do you think I want her as an s/s option? Certain things would "read" differently and I'd enjoy it more.

I'd be willing to wager quite a bit that Lazarus was accomplished with Reaper tech. Compare Renegade Shep and TIM's eyes. Also the fact that s/he can be hacked and that it makes no sense to use death only as a reset button. It also provides a possible reason they were downright desperate to make Miranda sympathetic. As for the time line, EDI is Reaper tech.
likely considering the tie-in books pretty much all focus on the subject. anyone could theoretically be hacked though: your brain is basically a mostly electrical/chemical computer...

Partially Reaper Tech according to the Wiki:
"...she reveals that she was in part designed by technology gained from Sovereign's remains and thus, at least partially, based on Reaper technology herself."
[/quote]
Actually i believe she says that some of her cyberwarfare systems are reaper tech (from sovereign). there's no indication that she herself is, or based off of reaper tech. the first (and only decent) tie in book established alliance credentials for ai creation.

yes i know but it was the first design of Miranda actually implemented in a game and galaxy was released pre-me2... yvonne me2 Miranda looks a million times better than their original implementaction, rushed scan or not (if it was).

....Again, I draw very loose. AND I always make the face and head the center of attention.

Note: It is only concept art. I won't be doing a more real looking pic until later.

This is my rough concept art of Miri that I just drew. I did not use Yvonne's face for it. I'm going to draw the realistic one later on. I just did what I could while looking at other concept art. I'm not sure how long it took. :/ I had to use the webcam, I don't have a scanner.

The face needs some work, though it might be the angle, also why don't you use a tablet (if you have one)? that way you don't have to use a webcam or scan anything.
You've got talent though, try to capitalize on it.

I have been drawing realism for a while now.
And I don't have a tablet. And again, it's a rough sketch. 100% realism and accuracy was not intended.
....at least for now.
I will be drawing a more real and accurate pic later. With that, I'm going to use a photo of Miri again, and Yvonne for reference, that way I can achieve realism and accuracy. This was practice and rough concept.
I appreciate your criticism though.
I did this quickly.
The fact that I drew it quickly astounds even myself.
It was quick, it was easy.
And I know that it wasn't what you expected of me with this, BUT like I said:
I will be drawing a more real and accurate pic later. With that, I'm going to use a photo of Miri again, and Yvonne for reference, that way I can achieve realism and accuracy. This was practice and rough concept.
^ Understand that....
I'm no Picasso or DaVinci, or the designers of Bioware, but hey, this is only a rough concept sketch after all. 100% realism and accuracy was not intended.
It's not perfect and yeah this won't get me a job in BioWare.
And yes, it's not like those in Dviant Art....but I'll make the best of it.
I'm still debating on whether I should work as a film director, or work in the Video Game business.

I really like this. Her expression sells it for me, the way she is looking out into the distance. I love your style.

I'm not using a computer to draw, it's all hand drawn.
And remember, I don't complete my pics most of the time, like DaVinci. I stop when I feel that it's done, that's my style, and I'm always loose, which is what makes it unique.
And realize that I'm no professional either. I do what I'm capable to do.

And, Ieldra, for what it's worth, my main FemShep's in love with her and I have no problem pairing her with men. Just MaleShep, the way the romance is written. I want to like it.
Why not write it based on what you think their romance would be like?
Edit: I thought you were talking about writting fanfiction with the two.

I have to make a realistic pic like I did with Yvonne:

The only problem is that I have the photos for reference, but don't have a poster board.

In the game, Vertigo. Shouldn't have to headcanon so much that it ceases to be recognizable. I can post what I would have done if it were me, if anyone's interested.
Yeah, I edited it once I realised you mean that.
