Why are you using that dialect? Shouldn't you use something more recognizable?

Δεν ξέρω. Είμαι στο Google μετάφραση και τώρα μιλώ Ελληνικά. Νόμιζα ότι θα σας αρέσει αυτό, Αναγέννησης Man.

Google translate is terrible. You just told me that you WERE Google and didn't speak English perfect and thought I would enjoy it.

Bah, we've heard it a thousand times before.
Humans and krogans are both organic. Just because they share that characteristic, you would claim they are not very different species?
Just take a look at Tuchanka rebuilt and see that the architectural style greatly differs from that of a human planet so, even the cultures remain quite diverse.

Implied where?

I don't think our "Mutual Fiend" on the Citadel is Indoctrinating anyone if that's what you're implying.

It's not Indocrination. Shepard explains it.
Basically, the Citadel is in the middle of nowhere and has several man made and
natural defenses. It is, thus, safe and the Council and several citizens fail to take the war seriously at first because they do not believe it can touch the Citadel. It's why the Cerberus Coup had unintended but positive side effects. By proving the Citadel is not untouchable, Cerberus pulled the Council into the war.

It's interesting. Mass Effect has a lot of somewhat anti-democratic themes, albeit light ones. One person in charge, one person making the difference. The Spectres. The Council. Cerberus. The turian government.

Light? It's militaristic from the ground up. Governments are all stupid and incompetent while all the important tasks are done by the military. The army and the navy are the only institutions which appear to be immune to the all-encompassing stupidity. Well, apart from the defence committee, but they're more politicians than anything else.

Pre-coup Udina is the only exception. And see what they did with him. Hell of a message to send.

That wasn't what we were talking about. Everyone understood that part. Everyone.

I'll be over here.

You're playing a military science fiction game. This should not be unexpected.

Would you prefer they be portrayed as the saviors? That can be just as bad.

Yeah Mass Effect is hardly democratic. It is sort of the  EU of the galaxy with big races deciding the future of everyone else. Don't necessarily agree that military are posted in a good light. Alliance come across as a bunch of incompetent bufoons. The individual soldier(through Shep) though is  shown as making a big difference though.

In the end, it all speaks against such things though: Many misuse the authority of the Spectres, the Council is generally portrayed as stupid, Cerberus is evil and fails after all... the main theme of Mass Effect is clearly "unity with diversity"

.
For the 100000the time: if you replace DNA with something else, diversity will be affected.....not at all. All life is based on DNA. Are we all the same?

And can we leave off with the Synthesis-bashing? I get enough of that in other threads.

it's what you get for supporting such a retarded concept.

Yes, yes, everything is exactly the same as it was before, except the parts which you find convenient to change, but naturally inconsistently only in those cases that it’s convenient. Unicorns, rainbows, etc.

We can just drop it.
