. Not at all, put the game on insanity and you have a reason for beating it again.  I thought the gameplay was decent, the story and endings were atrocious but EC went a long way in fixing the endings

I really enjoy(ed) the game and think the majority of it is pretty damn good, save some complaints, but that's been covered; still, I'm so perturbed by the ending that I feel like I'm working towards nothing but annoyance and facepalming. As steelcan said, I think EC went a long way to make the endings better, but I feel like it's slapping a fresh coat of paint on Ford Pinto. It looks better, but the car still absolutely sucks.

I just beat ME2, and that playthrough clocked in at over 40 hours. I'd rather ram my head into a concrete wall than play ME3 for 40 hours right now.

I know, I'm saying that High ems destroy actually makes me enjoy a playthrough.

In fact, sometimes when i'm hammeredish, I love to rewatch the end (beam run to the end) for TEH FEELZ.

I really wish I could skip past starbrat explaining control or synthesis though.

I have trouble finishing my insanity playthrough as well.
I remember how I always played a whole weekend to finish a Mass Effect title full of ambition for the 5th time and now it already takes me a good month to play ME3 a second time.

It's not the ending, though. It's the whole uninspired campaign that kills every ambition.

It took you 40 hours for ME2?  Takes me ~25 with all side, loyalty, and main missions.  Also have Arrival and LotSB.  But anyways, just think that after that time, you get to blow starchild's lying virtual ass into actual dust

It took me 35 to do ME3 on Insanity the first time I played. I looked everywhere because I thought my choices would matter!
