No one is killed. You can even see Kelly being dragged into the Elevator.

Screaming.

In the beginning, the Collectors weren't harvesting humans yet. It was simply 'take out the threat to the Reapers' and they succeeded.

After the Derelect Ship mission, They didn't have the chance to harvest anyone.

When it comes to the IFF, they have the perfect opertunity to get 40-50 more humans for their Reaper so they take it.

They're going to want to continue harvesting to finish the Reaper; 40-50 people is small fry. I still think they'd just want to simply eliminate the Cerberus crew because that's who's fighting back. It's just one of those inconsistencies.

Is it wrong that I usually chuckle when that happens?

Sure, its small fry, but why pass up the oportunity?

You have 40-50 humans just sitting there dead in the water; They can't escape and they can't defend themselves. Instead of killing them, why not harvest them so they don't go to waste. It also helps that these are people the Reapers consider a threat and would thus be perfect additions to the Human Reaper.

I propose a wager. I say at least one person was killed by the collectors on the Normandy. Loser has to start a "Support Allers" thread with no sarcasm.

The whole thing is an inconsistency. Why the hell are they leaving in the first place?

I actually laugh when that guy rag dolls after he says he'll protect Joker so no Nihlus you aren't a bad person.

Bets have never gone well in here. At least since I got here.

Nothing will ever top "Bowie Nipple Night".

SO THE IFF CAN BE INSTALLED, THAT'S WHY!

They need to leave the ship for this to happen, and take the entire squad lineup with you.

lol

Then Shepard should say "A person gave their life for us." :P

No one was killed if you go right after they are abducted. There's 24 crewman before and after the SM. Tho only guy who disappears is that dude guarding the AI core when you activate Legion.

And for our German friends in this thread.

Christiane F. – Wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo

This film scares me to death.

Would you support this as a fabulous outfit for Shepard?

That and where the hell Mordin got the Seeker Bug are the largest of ME2's issues.

The best part is when this happens pre-DLC (not CN free stuff, but Overlord, Arrival, etc.) ME2 when you have every mission done and they tell you to access your next location/mission via the shuttle...when I have no reason to go anywhere and I have no missions left.

Or if you do all the DLC before then. First playthrough, I did everything before that mission because I knew it to be the Point of no return (atleast not for awhile).

I assume they'd probably planned a mission or two but they just got lost in development.

I've been mixing it up recently. Waiting to do the Kasumi and Zaeed LM until AFTER Horizon. I try to get most things out of the way pre SM. Then I only have LotSB and Arrival left.

And then it's time for ME3.

That film is more or less still mandatory in public schools here in DK & GER.

And yeah, some scenes are ****ing shocking!   :pinched:

That's what I do!

We're so much alike!

I usually leave Overlord, LotSB and Arrival for post-SM. I don't want to leap right into ME3; I want to savor ME2 before I step into the meat grinder of ME3.

I really appreciate that film for being so honest. When I talk about things needing to be truthful I'm talking about Christiane F.

Blunt, unapologetic but eventually very hopeful.

And David Bowie is in it so it's just great. And it has the best version of Heroes in it. Heroes/Helden.

A mixture of the English and German version.

Dann sind wir Helden!

Were nothing
And nothing will help us
Maybe were lying
Then you better not stay
But we could be safer
Just for one day
Oh oh oh oh

Ditto on the Kasumi and Zaeed LMs after the SM.

Though, that's mostly due to Kasumi's LM being my absolute favorite and Zaeed's requiring 90% Paragon to complete.

I just can't wait that long to play it. It's such an exciting experience that I have to do it as soon as I acquire the Normandy.

...and that pay off at the end? Touching that glowing green orb and conviently having it shrink to a size suitable for my cabin?

YESSS.

It doesn't take a lot Lance. I think maybe a bar of Paragon. Really. I mean that.

I think it takes almost as much (maybe one segment of the bar less) to do that as the Miranda/Jack and Tali/Legion confrontations do.

All of the charm/intimidate options in ME 2 are based off of how much Paragon/Renegade points it's possible to have at that point, not how many points the player has absolutely. So going on missions earlier requires fewer Paragon/Renegade points to successfully charm or intimidate.
