I like a couple of songs by R.E.M.; Orange Crush specifically, and we all know how the awesome post-North American invasion boy band Beatles are.

If someone put a gun to my head, which I wouldn't be too excited about, I'd have to go with Led Zeppelin or The Rolling Stones as my favorite band.

. Let it Be, best album ever, and McCartney and Lennon's solo work and even some of Harrison's, phenomenal, 
Ringo not so much.  As or REM, Green and Out of Time,
