Drunks >> hipsters

Martin Luther, Dostoevsky, Poe, Hemmingway.

Name one useful hipster artist. NAME ONE!

What if I told you people were recording songs and asking me to review them for them.

What would you do then?

Dead serious.

"Drunk" is so much easier to define than "hipster," though. I'm not sure it's a fair comparison.

Anyone can be a drunk, really.

We prove it on a nightly basis =]

I have never heard of any of those people.

Literally.

You cannot be an important artist is nobody knows who you are. It's like being a mute singer...

This post confused me more than Todd Akin's "legitimate rape" comment.

Michael Haneke is as well.

Make a serious arguement that anyone, other than pretentious art school people, will know who those people are in 200 years.

I listed people that are still known by society at large.  Because they communicated to society.  Not just to 4 art school dorks who will have to get real jobs in 10 years (how'd hollywood do this weekend?)

Yes you boob.

Nicolas Roeg's innovative editing techniques in Performance created what would be considered the first true music video.

Ever wonder where those came from? The flashy ones? Nicolas Roeg. Show a little respect.

Homer was better.

Sam Peckinpah was a drunk and film director. He was the first person to utilize slow motion and violence.

As for music videos...

I weep for cinema's future when it can't remember truly great art...

not ART, but Art.  Actual.

I don't have pictures saved anywhere so I have to grab them from places like Deviant Art.

Here! Discuss! You've seen this one before!

I have some renders, but I'm saving them for page 3k. Just one click and they all will be in DA.

Am I the only one who prefers control over the other two endings?

I stil lthink they are all horrible, but artistic xD.

I prefer Contol over the other endings. I like the concept of Synthesis (I usually pick the Sarif ending in Deus Ex: Human Revolution) but it comes out of absolutely nowhere and ends up feeling like it was created for the sake of having a third option. That and we Synthesizers and Controllers can't really have a discussion about either option without having Destroyers coming in with "Y U NO PICK DESTROY?!"

I have something planned for 3K as well.

It may or may not have something to do with my body being ready.

While I respect your opinion on choosing control over the rest, may I ask why?

I'm a destroy supporter, but I actually enjoy why others picked the other endings and their reasoning behind it. I've had people almost tempt me with synthesis because of their reasonings.

I don't care what ending someone picks. I've been pretty clear on my reasons for Destroy and they are not the same as a vast majority of the Destroy supports.

I chose to tell the people everything in Deus Ex:HR by the way. They deserve to know.

I've never played the first one. I should probably do that...

Ok topic of discussion.

Let's say Miranda encounters Jacob before priority Earth. How would she react to Jacob deciding to be a family man?
