We can debate the derp of ME3s battles till we're blue in the face and we'll get no closer to an actual explanation.

We can only hope that the majority of stupid people were the ones killed and that the survivors remember to use all their weapons and gadgets next time.

My problem with the Crucible is that to me it screams "It's a trap!"  When plans for a massive directed-energy weapon made to destroy the Reapers is hiding in plain some red flags should be raised.

EDI's talk about developing anti-Reaper cyberwarfare programs in ME2 pretty much had me thinking that we'd deal with the Reapers Independance Day-style. Hack into the Reapers to disable their defences then board them, set up bombs inside and then blow them to hell.

The EMS system also is meaningless. You could have gotten all the War Assets and promoted enough MP characters to have an EMS in the 10,000 range and Hammer will proceed to get annhilated and the Earth mission will remain the same as if you had the minimum "good" EMS score of 3100 which can be acheived just by doing all of the Priority missions. DLC that promises to introduce new allies for the fight to retake Earth really doesn't matter when we don't see 95% of our War Assets outside of a text entry in the War Room.

I don't believe that by choosing H-EMS refuse (should the option be available)  is "dooming" anyone. I think its showing faith that we can win this war on our own, which we seem to be doing a hell-of-a job without the crucible.

I disagree. Shepard knows the Reapers will win. There is not a shadow of a doubt—especially with the bulk of the fleets being decimated just outside the window.

Edit: just to clarify, if you want to headcanon something else, that’s cool. It’s just that the game we got—not the game you might have wished for—makes it perfectly clear that the war will be lost, and that everyone knows this to be the case.

We should be able to win, in theory. Bioware won't let us win because art.

No. Once again, you can wish the game was different, but it’s not. In the game, the combined galactic fleet is fighting at least 2000 Reaper capital ships and, by extension, at least 10 000 destroyers.

It’s stated that the ratio to beat a Reaper is about 4:1, but let’s be generous and say that it’s 3:1. That means that the galactic fleet would need to be at least 6000 dreadnoughts and 30 000 cruisers strong.

Whence these ships?

And if the fleets are being decimated, they should be just fine (winning in fact), unless the fleet gets decimated every 5 minutes or so. I don't think that was the case though.

If you meant getting annihilated, maybe.

No, I meant decimated, but you can substitute ‘annihilated’ if you find colloquial usage unpalatable.

I just read the arguments on the last page about nukes. Needless to say, a lot of you have no business discussing that sort of thing.

DLC With Miranda Lawson including possibility to invite her
to normandy adding relationship, would be very useful.

I think most people here will agree :P

I'd sure like to see that too, but I'm not holding my breath.

Many see getting Yvonne back for VA as an obstacle to this. But personally, I think she'd jump at the opportunity to correct the short sighted treatment of her character because it's still attainable at this juncture.

Not much chance of that happening with her other noteable character who was so severely ravaged by TPTB.

True.

Her hair is a little too light for my tastes. Golden Blonde or Raven/Blue Black is my preferred hair color.

I'm a strange man when I say I'm not into red heads.

Yeah the last few episodes kinda sucked. I think things get better though for Chuck and Sarah. I think she falls in love with him all over again.

Plus it is a good set up for a one off TV movie in the future.

I have many doubts about Dexter though. I'm an obsessed Strahovski fan (only a little;)) but I can say that if what I think is going to happen happens, I might be turned off from her a bit.

I was OK with the Chuck ending. It gave me feels. And the intent was clear enough. Shame the last villain was so crap though...

I can't claim any inside knowledge on Dexter and I haven't watched past the first season but I can see something like Deb gunning her down rather than the same old route I've heard every other season takes. At least, they could try something different...

I could see her coming back for ME. Work is work. The real pipe dream would be that cast cosplay thing I linked earlier.

I'll do the wait and see approach with "Dexter" I don't think I get that channel come to think of it... hmm... I do think Sarah Walker falls in love with Chuck all over again. *yay* :) The cosplay link on facebook is very cool. I don't have twitter so maybe someone can tweet yvonne and tell her we'd love to see more Miranda... Or what she enjoyed most about Miranda's character... :)

I love Chuck. I picked up all 5 seasons on blu ray. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone into the whole nerd scene, that also likes spy related elements.

If you like Action/Comedy/Drama, Chuck is perfect for you. It's not the absolute best show ever made, but it blends a lot of things well. If you are a nerd or a hipster kinda guy, Chuck might also be for you.

I for one am a diehard Chuckster.

Both of these should tell you enough:

Dexter was only ever ok for me. Past season 4, it just started to go south very quickly. I'm only going to watch this season for Yvonne.

I think Chuck was great. Only tv series that kept my interest long enough to watch every episode.

Though I admit it's something that really doesn't appeal to everyone.
