"I'll always want you in my life." Miranda Lawson in Mass Effect 3

Activities:
(1) "Shots were fired". Miranda later mentions that the fight was between her and her father's security guards. Couldn't find the reference though.
(2) "I wasn't the first one he made. I was only the first he kept." Suggesting that Miranda's father disposed of his other daughters. Some unpleasant possibilities suggest themselves.
(3) Hiring of mercs to kidnap Oriana. They appear to have been hired by her father - Niket mentions that he was promised he could do it his way in a conflict with Enyala, who wanted to do it her way. He didn't appear to be in command.
(4) "I was brought up with no friends, pushed to meet impossible demands. I wasn't a daughter to him. I was... I don't know what I was." Hints of psychological mistreatment.
About his personality:
(1) "He didn't want a daughter -- he wanted a dynasty."
(2) "I knew he would continue to persue his... investments."
(3) "He's a very influential man, and extremely controlling."
(4) "My father is extremely persistent."
Appears to be a somelike obsessive personality. I don't really think he'll turn out redeemable. But nonetheless I'd find it more interesting if him not being a complete monster would make the choice of not killing him reasonable. Admittedly it doesn't look like it.

This is what I want for ME3 more than anything in the world. Both of them, side by side. My brain would short circuit, if I had to choose between them.

What can I say. In that team, both my main maleShep and my main femShep would have their favorite person in the galaxy at their side. Likely a team I'd use rather often.

Why should the VS even matter?
Miri and Kaidan are TWO Sentinels. It will be like BW saying, "you can't have two Sentinels on one ship."
You know what I mean?
It's like BioWare expected EVERY OTHER male player to do what they expected them to do: keep ashley alive and romance her.
It's like the devs do not understand that there are players who played ME2 first, THEN imported, like me.
Miri is my one and only.
And Like I said, I played ME2 first remember this, and in ALL of my playthroughs, I CONSTANTLY saw ashley over and over again and I got tired of it.
It's like that is how BioWare thinks of it, Think about it, in 2007-2008, Miri didn't exist, then she did When ME2 was mention. It's like the expected people to have conflicts in ME3.
NOT ME. I've been a Mirimancer since the beginning of my ME experience. I'm sorry if it sounds weird, but like I said, I played ME2 first. I was SO eager to play ME2. I did NOT want to play me1 during that time. And I was interested in Miri before I even got ME2. When I found out that I can have a Romance, I said to myself, "I know who I want to have a Relationship with." And that person was Miri. It's like love at first sight, if you know what I mean.
So, I am a TRUE and PURE BRED Mirimancer lol. She was my FIRST LI in a game EVER, and she always will be my ONE AND ONLY LI in the Series <3<3<3<3

I think Kaidan, Miranda, and Liara would be my go-to team (which two of three depends on the mission). I want it very badly.
Miranda, Ashley will probably be my team (if that can happen)...should be interesting as I romanced Ash then Miranda
I'd prefer Miranda and Mordin (or Legion): I'd love to hear their banter
*mind wanders off thinking of possible banter between the two...*

You have to be the most devoted Miranda fan on the BSN, my hats off to you! I wouldn't worry too much, BW knows how many rabid Mirimancers there are in the fandom.
I for one am going to keep the faith that they will treat Miranda well in ME3.

My dream team... Miranda and whoever the mission is tailored best for because in all honesty I could one man the entire game, though having Miranda at my side will make things infinitely easier. The other squadmate...? Garrus is my bromance dude so he's up there but if you can take both Ash and Miranda along AND if there's party banter like they did in ME1?
SO FUN.

I do not believe in faith. That's why I'm using every opportunity to promote Miranda's cause. But I do admit there is reason for hope.I for one am going to keep the faith that they will treat Miranda well in ME3.

Maybe faith was the wrong word. Let me rephrase: Given Bioware's excellent track record (I am talking about ME 1&2 don't lump DA2 into this statement)in the past I am going to remain optimistic that Miranda's character will be not be minimized or trivialized in the final installment of the most epic franchise in gaming history.
There how is that?

I don't think we're always as gracious or calm as we could be. I'd like to remind everyone that melodrama can be coubterproductive by making the devs more unlikely to engage with us and answer our questions. I'd also like to remind everyone that many people who post here have characters they like besides Miranda. Especially since we have so many new people posting. Treat those characters with the same respect you'd want Miranda to be treated with.
So stay positive and keep focused on what you want to see.

I'm slightly afraid that they may treat the Miri romance like a fling. Bioware has shown in the DA franchise that they don't necessarily let all romances end happily. They write them how they see fit. I really hope I am wrong there but thats my fear.
Also honestly I'm not that concerned if she is not a squadie.. I just hope I can have a meaningful romance with her in the game. Interact with the character whenever I want. Like have her on board of the Normandy. But you know I would PREFER she be a squadmate.

Yes. Recall that fans have an influence on how a character is perceived, unreasonable as that may be. I guess we've all been melodramatic at times (me included, to my chagrin), but that doesn't mean it's a good thing.jtav wrote...

If that happens, I think it will depend on plot decisions. Character X will be uncomfortable with your decision and decide it's better to fight the Reapers with someone else. Or it will depend on other team members. There's a precedence in BG2, where certain character pairings were unlikely to stay in the party for long because they couldn't stand each other.DrunkenGoon wrote...
I have a feeling that you will have a core group of people on board the Normandy.. Then you will fly around and have small interactions with people from your huge squad in ME2. I'm not sure how they will decide who your main core will be though.
I have only seen three of the four DA2 romances, but I had a reasonably happy end with all of them. As happy as can be expected considering the events. Your decisions might trigger an unhappy end, but it isn't forced on you (unlike the unhappy end of the game in general). Also DA2 is one game, you won't play the same character again. In ME we have one or two games of a player's emotional investment in a character. It would be amazingly cruel to force an unhappy end in that situation except in the cases with foreshadowing - Jack and Thane.I'm slightly afraid that they may treat the Miri romance like a fling. Bioware has shown in the DA franchise that they don't necessarily let all romances end happily. They write them how they see fit. I really hope I am wrong there but thats my fear.

no, I'd agree with that - they are inconsistent with it too though, almost schizophrenic. I'd add caving to needlessly adding "a" femshep into advertising onto that list, too, personally.MisterJB wrote...
Bioware listen to its fans. They migth even listen a bit too much. That's how we ended up with the AAP2 and romanceable Garrus and Tali.
No offence is meant to anyone, the above mentioned it's just my personal opinion.

You'd deserve it if you lack the drive/pragmatism for self-preservation - something neither Shepard nor miranda lack by default. There's also a big difference between giving your life for someone and throwing your own away.

I'm not talking about throwing away. Perhaps I should have added that OF COURSE I'd only do it if there was no alternative but that one of Shepard or Miranda dies. I really thought that went without saying.Jebel Krong wrote...

Not that I believe we'll get that scenario, unless we make bad choices perhaps
