Well yes. But being smart doesn't change public opinion. That's why I figure any organization formed post war is going to need some serious attention in the public department. Like hospitals and such. Prevention of violence and such. I'd like to think my Shepard would help displaced families for a time, as there are going to be plenty of those around.

But clandestine activities on the side? Sure. Someone has to deal with those Leviathans. And someone has to study them after they've been blown to hell.

Or how about this: Another scene similar to TDKR:

Shepard leaves the restaurant and tells the guy that he must have forgotten his ticket. Then the guy tells Shepard, "Your wife said you'll be taking a cab home," resulting in Shepard questioning his comment with "My Wife?"

It will cut to Miri "flying" the car away with a smirk.

The question is....would Miri pull something like that? Maybe not....unless Shepard does something that would cause such an action.

In film news, and I don't think is widely known but thirty minutes of footage may be added BACK into TDKR raising the running time to 190 plus minutes. You'd be looking at more Bane footage and everything., Mostly justifying his presence more. This is of course if Nolan decides to do so. This would be a "Director's Cut" of sorts.

Ridley Scott has about thirty minutes of cut footage for Prometheus as well. I don't think that it's going to make it into the first DVD/Blu-Ray release but somewhere down the line you can expect a Director's Cut of that too.

I've never seen the original one. I could say the same about Blade Runner though. The Final Cut was the only version I watched of Blade Runner.

There are seven extant version of Blade Runner. I own five.

The other two are an early showing of the film and the television version.

The Final Cut is the best version.
