Nope. But I don't really need to prove it beyond a shadow of a doubt. Last spring, in interviews and such, devs were talking about all the romances having some sort of "resolution."

Given the emphasis on Miranda's death overall, it seems plausible that they were toying with the idea of having two tragic ME2 romances, and two "rejection" ME2 romances. (Jack would have said no to any type of long-distance relationship. There were lines in the leaked script to roughly that effect.)

I doubt it was ever locked in, but fan support probably played a role in avoiding that.

There's a lot of emphasis on death in ME3. Mac Walters has a serious issue with it. We're all biased because it involves Miranda. We cannot possibly know was going through the writers heads.

And to be honest I don't want to know.

I don't think it's worth debating. What's done is done. Nothing we say or do can change things.

Well i despise the fact that she just vanishes if she lives. However romance does get the 'finish this, then find me' which i love. So not quite fizzling out for me just missing a gaping chunk of content right after sanctuary as well as the whole fron end of her content being horribly loaded with padding.

That's true. My point is more: sometimes taking a laissez-faire/"let it be"  type of attitude isn't the best option.

In ME2, it was fine, because Miranda was a focus of development, had the best writers, etc. But for ME3, she wasn't, so that extra push is important.

Pretty much. That's the only reason we can do something with organizations post war. We have everything but outfits now.

I'd like it to be a group effort though seeing this is one of the few things we can all make progress on together.
