And who says you need to sing Kumbaya with someone? Arguements are entertaining for others.

Ieldra still hasn't figured out that I'm not being serious with him most of the time.

It's an art debate. You can't win. I thrive in these enviroments. I revel in the chaos.

Most of the time, you just look like an idiot.

Well, this is ironic.

Yep.

Considering how much every body totally looks at Lillitheris as the "paragon of the Bioware forums" it is.

Very ironic on your part Lil.

We're all laughing hard at this.

That’d be one strange definition of paragon.

I was being sarcastic, seeing as everyone here thinks your full of it.

Ah, good.

I see Miranda as the type to spend fifteen minutes on the actual ceremony and go all out for the honeymoon.

Would she get married at all?

I think it would depend on her find the right man for her.

Since Shepard be that man, I think so.

You don’t have to be married to be together. So, would she feel that it was necessary, or avoid the tradition? Common-law is already quite prevalent.

Well, she does imply a desire to get married in the death dialogue. I have no strong feelings either way.

She doesn't have to die in order for us to figure this out. A message to (I don't care if any of you get pissed off. You'll live.) some of you. Common sense. You do not need to hear someone say "I Love You" in order to know.

No, but it sure would be nice to hear without killing her off.

When she dies.

Strictly spoken she says she wished Oriana to have that. Since "things I could never have" is completely implausible (see the debates about the infertility and a possible cure) I ignore that part. Bah, the writers should remember that they're in a sci-fi universe. Undead in space, vitalism, Miranda's infertility, Shepard's sacrifice in Synthesis etc. etc. etc. Sometimes I feel like they just transferred a gazillion fantasy tropes into space and called it sci-fi.

Given the presence of non-romance hugs with other characters, Miranda's hug is relatively free of meaning.

Mm, that’s true. I won’t invoke the standard “death dialogue is a different universe” counterargument.  Although even then she says she could never have it, for some reason… I suppose that could be a reference to romantic failure rather than a general statement. So with Shepard, she might not feel that way.

But, that said, it still seems…traditional. Like going from bondage to another. It might work as ‘letting go of complete independence’ symbolism, but I don’t think she’s been that.

It's not so much knowing or not knowing as desiring the highest emotional intensity. I get a bigger "hit" if she dies than if she lives.
