Sorry man...but exhibit A

You are well aware that that post was made when this thread was made. Do you even see me post that many now? No. I learned my lesson not to post that much. Now I just post 2 3 or even 4.

One gets the point across just fine Luis. We understand what you mean with just one.

I like this human! He (she?) understands!

The sex of the person always ruins these things, tbh.

I know right?

Gender, what a kick in the quad.

I can post emoticons if I want to. I don't understand how it makes someone look childish. This is discrimination on individuality.

One or two is perfectly fine. You go overboard with them.

:wub::wub::wub::wub::wub::wub::wub::wub::wub::wub::wub::wub::wub:

like that.

apologies to all in posterity of this post.

I don't even post that many anymore. I haven't posted that many for a year. Now you are just overreacting. Give me one shred of ****ing proof that shows that I still post that many

Consider it dropped, as a courtesy to the Executive Board.

That whole scene with Miranda on Zaeed's mission on Zorya is great. She looks absolutely ravishing.

...AND FABULOUS.

Zaeed: ...And that's why we're going to go and burn the place to the goddamn ground. (notices Shepard not paying attention) Shepard! Oi, pay attention this ****'s important!

(minutes later)

Shepard: What the hell are you doing?!

Zaeed: I'm taking out the main control valve so we can level everything in a five mile radius! We've been over this!

Shepard: No we haven't!

Zaeed: Well if you wen't so busy staring at the rear admiral over there while she was looking at that waterfall you would have been in on the goddamn plan now wouldn't you?!

One thing that I have noticed, despite Miranda's former Cerberus position, her pro-human beliefs, and her Machiavellian attitude, she is not xenophobic. Ashley, renegade Shepard (specifically in ME1), and TIM are all much more anti alum than her

Yes, it’s completely baffling why she’s involved with a bunch of xenophobic terrorists.

The problem isn’t how Cerberus is portrayed. It’s not a pony ranch, it’s space KKK. The problem is how Miranda is portrayed.

That being said, perhaps people need to back off Luis' case since perhaps we may have gotten a little out of control jumping on the band waggon.

You think?

Pretty classy, bashing someone with a condition that prevents them from reacting to things the way most others do. Then again, I don’t expect any better of this thread.

thought it came off like she was wanting to advance humanity. but wasn't until towards the end of ME2 that she finally saw what cerberus really was. But might have missed something. As she said "too many join out of simple xenophobia" , she seemed to believe that cerberus was trying to advance humanity and that is all, not dominate the other species.

Not to get involved with that, but people on this thread are pretty lousy about jumping on the bandwagon. If you look a few pages back (starting on page 3056), three different people (Taboo, Ventus, and Steelcan) were ranting about how 'stupid' the science in the Reaper blackstar codex entry was. When I confronted them about it, none of them could give me anything close to an explanation as to why, and it's clear none of them really knew what they what they talking about. I'm guessing they saw a post or watched a video that was vaguely plausible enough for them to agree with without actually giving it any thought.

I think 'jumping on the bandwagon' is a common theme in human nature and in no way unique to this thread. Although there are some marvelous examples of it here.

That seems to be what they were going for; the problem with it is that Cerberus was a well-known terrorist organization. Why Miranda (supposedly) doesn’t know this even though everyone else does is a tricky question.

But, of course, it’s hard to explore this here since the “retake the nice Cerberus” meme is so strong among the regulars.

well i get it, know what cerberus was and such, was just adding why miranda was part of it, she knew of cerberus' past but thought it was to better humanity.

but as said i think i might have missed a post or two she doesn't really fit in cerberus to me. just feel like she saw it differently till shepard opened her eyes

or something like that

I'd say Mordin and Legion were better. Romance? Better than ME2, but I'd trade it in a second for a Mordin role.

Uh....if she had a role like Mordin's, I'd do the equivalent of killing Wrex and destroying Maelon's cure every single time. Except in a "for science" run. Also, Legion's sacrifice makes no f****** sense.

@all:
Reading the last few pages makes me understand why Renegade Shepard would want to "end the bickering of the Many" when he chooses Control.
