seriously, this has such an easy resolution:
If you don't like what Luis posts, skip it. You can see his name, and just scroll down to the next person.

Some of you are really nuts you know?

Precisely. Just because he might flip out, doesn't mean you have to.

Nice screenshot, by the way, Luis.

I'll post it as a new Image on this page so that people can see it without going back a page.

Everybody just get off each others cases. It's pathetic to listen to you all complaining about each other

i miss the heavy weapons in me3 - the blackstar is a cool addition and you only get it 2/3 times...

Oh and man some of you must be having your time of the month because this thread is ****y: Luis might be immature but he's harmless if you ignore him.

Not a fan of forced tragedy myself. I've always found it to be a rather silly way of forcing emotions on the audience.

I think the reason they didn't use Heavy Weapons in ME3 is because people only really saved them for the big things in ME2. Like they were supposed to. Apparently that warranted axing them.

At least that's what I read here. Who knows.

*great pic*

Well, the probleme is, how do you creat tragedy without giving the feeling it's being forced on you ?

Well, doesn't seem like I missed anything important the past few days (if the last 20 pages are any indication).

So... what else is new?

You've been watching those Bresson films yes? Which ones? If it comes as a natural part of the story as in the case of Le Diable Problament it isn't an issue.

Shepard isn't a tragic hero. He's already died once. There is no real reason to kill him again. Doing it again is simply forced emotion.

I uploaded new Pictures in my ME2 Album, but I'm far from done. You see, now I have to put the Shepard Pictures in the Shepard Album, and put the Miri Pictures in the Miri Album. IF ONLY BSN would give MORE Free Space for the Albums.

Not only that, it's downright quaint really, if resurrection's entered the picture.

He's not that damaged by the end of ME3 anyway- not on the same scale as atmospheric re-entry in any case.

See, I'm doing a tragic hero Shep playthrough now. Miranda dies too, if only because I'd never seen the death scene and I really wanted to since it was more touching than any of her other content. He's a vanguard too and his personality is that of one who does not care if he lives or dies. He's pretty much already dead. He looses Miranda and then dies to bring a brighter tomorrow. Which is Synthesis for me.

It's actually right up my ally.

I simply don't believe the story warranted such things.

They could have made it far more simple had they simply had Shepard push a button and live if the EMS was high enough in all of the endings.

Can you imagine a Synthesized Breath Scene?

Bah, synthesis.

But if you're working off the "Miranda's dead, no reason to live" angle I can kind of see it. Terribly depressing though.

Works better if you change "no reason to live" for "lost connection to humanity" and pick Control. That's where my Shepard is.

I have the "**** all that we've got to get on with these" approach. I'd think my Shepard would simply want it over. Loads of stress. Mounting tension. Shoot the pipe and hope for the best.

And if the EMS is High enough the outcome is pretty good.

Funny you should mention that. I think they made the ending choice a physical/literal thing after complaints over how Deus Ex: HR did it. I have nothing to support that idea, obviously.

Is there any other way to upload all these Mass Effect screenshots? I really do not want to delete any of them because they are very good.

It would have gone better if Shepard lived in all of the endings. I think a lot of this **** would have blown over.

Ask Ieldra about the sacrifice in Synthesis. It's made worse because of it.

How do you mean? There are plenty of image-sharing websites but you're probably aware of those. Considered saving them onto a USB stick or some kind of external storage device? Even a basic one could probably hold loads of your pictures, especially if you don't mind converting them.

That doesn't hit me as hard as the one with the hug in the docking bay.

And of course she misses him.
