Can't agree with that, Steelcan. Shadow Broker Liara is actually a very interesting character and shows a few attributes Miranda has largely lost in ME3. I just dislike that she's pushed in our faces and that her status as writer's pet made a permanent, unkillable fixture in all three games.

Also there are jerks in all fangroups.

Nice. Thanks for the link. Ironically, while this blogger correctly states that Miranda is a more complex character than most people give her credit for, he still misses one or two things he could've mentioned to make that complexity more apparent.

To be fair Ieldra Liara can die if the EMS is low on the beam run.

I don't think Miranda lost as much as you think though. I think the writing in ME3 just sucks. We can talk about something I think you've misconstrued in PM if you wish.

Liara is pretty annoying though.

Actually, i find the Tali-mancers pretty nice.

Sure, they got their weird.........stuff, with the dole and the swet thing.

But i think that was some time ago, from what i've seen, they are quite cool

Hello to the new faces! That's always good to see.

And, yes, Sonashi, you make an excellent point. If confronted with negativity: be the better person, or at least give people the benefit of the doubt. In all my time, I've noticed some people are actually unaware how something as simple as how they say something can drastically affect how others perceive them.

Rather than automatically assuming a hostile stance, try and understand other people, engage in a conversation.

And, yes, there is absolutely no need to show any hate for other 'mancers'. They're all fans, the same as you. Some of them like multiple characters, which includes Miranda. And there's nothing great about grouping or labelling all of them just as you wouldn't like the same done to you.


...anyway, I always figured that Miranda wouldn't tell Shepard what she was planning to do with Alliance resources because of what others have stated: plausible deniability.

Obviously, it's just bad writing, but that's probably the most logical rationalisation.
