I always do. It's one thing to ask if that's what she really wants to do, but quite another to grab her, and in the middle of a standoff situation on top of that. Shepard's reasoning sucks, too. Two times stupid is too much. Not with my Shepard.

^This, on my Main mirmancer i'd stop her, as you get some nice extra lines. (And I always bring jack for the ride lol)

But depends how Im playing my other Sheps, so don't give second chances and that reflects on my team's choices.

Careful wording sometimes works.

There are some differences in the two scenarios, the primary ones being the scale (Maelon’s research was limited to a small group), and that the victims were volunteers. If I recall correctly, anyway.

I doubt the humans Maelon used for his control group volunteered.

If Shepherd did not physically grab her but rather gave a logical reason for sparring Niket, would you do it?

I stop her. For one, I'd like to think there's a solution beyond killing him. And there's no time to deliberate; you act or you miss that chance. Plus, you've already got another squad member backing you up.

There's sometimes a better solution. Her hastiness with Legion may very well end up dooming one race above Rannoch.

I remember when I first fought Kai Leng. Remember in Return Of The Jedi, when Luke became angry and start attacking Darth Vader, resulting in Luke cutting Vader's hand off? That is how I felt like.
