I don't see what is repulsive about it. Mantaining a relationship in the middle of a galactic war can't be easy. The fact they haven't seen each other in six months proves it and much can change during that time. I think Shepard has valid reasons for pushing Miranda away and she is, also understandably, hurt by it even if she can comprehend his doubts. The animation and voice acting makes it an heartbreaking scene which means Bioware did a good job with it. I thoroughly enjoy watching it and would even like to see it expanded. Maybe a Paragon interrupt when Shepard notices she is crying?
I, however, am a glutton for punishment who loves tragedy and have watched the break up and romanced death scenes more times than I could admit while keeping my dignity.

The only thing I find repulsive is that she has to die if Shepard breaks up with her.

Dude, what are you even doing here?

What? Some people enjoy stories that end happilly. Others enjoy stories that end in tragedy.
I don't see what is so wrong with that.

I don't think it's a question of that. Personal preference is entirely appropriate here. People pick and choose what they want.

Then what is the issue?

I have no issue. I don't care what people do,want or how they interpret things. You gave your reasons and they perfectly valid within your interpretation.

I understand completely. I can't speak for everyone else though.

Pure speculation on my part, but I believe the Docs are leaving due to the controversy surrounding the game and the recent practices of both Bioware and EA, for thier own volition or against it. They've had their notice to resign in since April now. That's just me.

Omega. Yeah for Omega.

Boo for the new game. Too soon. Way too soon. I might not even be interested in it. Mass Effect is all about Shepard for me, afterall.

I'm done with ME games. The direction they took with ME3 is already horrible. A game after that with hudson leading it agai will be an epic fail.

Maybe I'll buy the Omega DLC (My first option will be youtube though). And no more Miranda, It can be expected because for bw she was just an expendable character. She wasn't in ME1 so she doesn't deserve anything.

I agree with you. At first I thought it was too much of a coincidence that they both chose to retire at the same time, so maybe EA decided to fire them and have complete control over BioWare. But I think your opinion makes sense too, I also thought that if they indeed retired was because they can't stand what EA is doing ti their games. Two retirements at the same time...

Somehow It reminds what happened to 2015 after EA.

And it's kind of ironic. They left EA, created a new studio, joined Activision, created COD. Then
the COD creator found a new studio and join EA.
Damn Cycle.

Who said the term rEApers wasn't appropriate...

Then they turned into Space N*zis in ME3.

Why are you ignoring that they were already that all the way until ME2?

No, they were not.  It was just retconned that way.

…What? ME. Cerberus. Terrorists. Both in the game, and in the Codex.

In ME2 (and partly 1) they have been the institution with great results but questionable methods, operating in the shadows. The galaxy would be completely different for Humanity if they would not exist. In a bad way.

In ME3 they suddenly have a whole fleet and army, and attack absolutely everywhere without any reason.

The mistake here is treating Cerberus as an indivisible whole.

They were all Space N*zis before, vs they were not.

Independent cells, people, all very possibly working under a different definition and vision.

What you could debate is whether TIM was always Sith-esque or not and since he was in charge of the overall vision, maybe you'll get further with that.

I disagree with this. I don’t think you’re looking at it the right way…consider this scenario: a guy comes to your door and tries to recruit you to the KKK but to one of the nice chapters, not one of the ones with lynchings and so on.

Maybe there could be separate cells working toward very different goals. That’s possible. But how did it come to be? Why are they all still identifying as Cerberus? (Talking ME/ME2 timeline here.)

Your argument is that ME, released 2 years before ME2, was ‘retconned’ to…what is your argument?

Cells do not communicate with one another lilitheris. Talk to EDI in ME2.

Each cell is different.

Operatives won't even recognize other Operatives because they're separate. That's stated too.

The problem is you're attributing Cerberus with the KKK. Cerberus is a human survivalist group, not a racist one. They're out to preserve humanity, not kill other species. Perhaps TIM was indoctrinated in Evolutions, perhaps he simply succumbed along the way somewhere, and this explains the different viewpoint in ME3. Yeah there are racist elements in the group, much as there are racist elements in the alliance, the Turians, the Quarians, the Krogan, the Asari, pretty much everyone.

I don't believe your looking at it the right way either. But that's just my opinion.
