You're right, of course, as far as etiquette is concerned ("as usual," I might add).

In fairness, however, it is true that good/evil bi-polarity in storytelling and characterisation has a sort of gravitational pull, especially in popular entertainment, that can be frustrating at times.

I tend to prefer the ME2 atmosphere, generally speaking. Which isn't to say that good and evil don't exist in ME2, but rather that the judgment rests on the side of the player. It isn't built into the world.

Sorry if I was a little harsh, but I'm getting so goddamned tired of this "gravitational pull", I don't have the least bit of patience for it left. I've had to put up with the resulting association fallacies for six months almost continuously. I'm fed up. To see it re-appearing here, where Miranda's rather complex character should discourage it, it's the last straw.

Oh, so sorry for the delay, guys. It is coming! Just that I haven't been 'feeling it' some days, especially after work, and I've been busy on my days off. Also, this thread has been a little active and I struggle to stay away. Aiming to get it done by early next week, but Borderlands 2 hits tomorrow...

It is coming together slowly, and I'm working on it right now. It's currently around 2,300 words and I've only just got to the Reapers showing up. It's sort of one big action scene, so I'm a bit finicky about the pacing and language (moreso than usual).

I've been watching a fair few of Sarah Walker's knock-down, drag-out fights from Chuck for when Kai Leng shows up. It's research, honest!

Tell you what, if you see me in this thread again, tell me to go away. I won't take it personally.

I haven't heard a single prove: a line, an action or similar. Give me something that supports your thesis.

I think that the release of the Evolution comics were to imply that TIM had been growing more and more indoctrinated as time went on, seeing how the Arca Monolith zapped him, but didn't turn him into a husk (unlike the meta-turians). That, plus TIM has eyes similar to Saren (the radiant blue and mechanical outline).

But then that begs the question of RenegadeShepard's eyes in ME2. IIRC, they're a mirror image of TIM's just with a red color scheme. Shepard's eyes also take on a similar pattern if you pick Control or Synthesis (though that's most likely just a reuse of texture models, not IT).

didnt you  know  ... the cake is a lie !!!!  .. I think  i was offered cake   with Me3 well . how i felt  when i didnt get my  return  of the  jedi ending or even a li reunion,,,  after all the time i spent  in  me3  and the fact that my alternate  reality  shep  didnt get to play becase Miranda  was only a cameo and i am not going though all that again  for  just a couple of cut scenes

"Rend" is a little harsh. I was thinking along the lines of typing it all up, and then posting it at a later time, all at once, thereby squeezing the entire pontification into that single moment in time.
