If Miri and Grunt were CH's favorite characters, then why the hell didn't they have more screen time?

Because they could die.

I'm assuming unlike Tali, Garrus, Kaidan, and Ashley.

Ashley can't die YOU LIAR!

Kaidan says otherwise.

Well, really, once they decided on a smaller squad, Miranda was doomed. VS and Vega took the token human slots. Which would have been fine if her resources had been allocated better.

I agree, but Kaidan's bore factor kills that for me. That's why I always rescue Ashley.

I used Kaidan to get Reave and I'm working on Barrier.

I would consider Ashley my canon VS.

And...? You have a problem with making your point, I'll admit that up front. Never mind that-

A). The inclusion of the VS breaks Bioware's own logic.
B). Vega is the least necessary inclusion in the game, regardless of individual preference.

To be honest I only saved Kaidan to get Reave and Barrier. I use Reave on a Vanguard in ME2 as well. That way you essentially have a double warp and the Vanguard can strip defenses.

OT: If you like Resident Evil, try the new demo for 6.

What if I told you I DIDN'T like Resident Evil?

What if I told you that I didn't believe you?

But in all seriousness...

I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall for the creation/reasoning of James Vega.

Difficult for me to say. I like to keep Ashley alive long enough to kill her personally.

I try to save as many possible.

I think the only people that die in ME3 for me are Thane and Mordin.

And the Geth VI. He gets shot in the face.

Three times.

I just got to her. Kept her alive long enough to get marksman, then put her down.

Told Garrus she got what she deserved at the Normandy memorial too.

Well, you're a bad person.  I accepted this about you long ago.

I bet you choose all Renegade options on Mars and intentionally don't go see her on the Citadel, just so she can tell you that she wants the Reapers to take you to hell, right?

I bet you get major jollies out of that. Troll face, in fact.

that is so dumb I think I just had a mini-stroke.

And Vega was for the new players.  It's annoying that they're trying to attract new players in a third game, but that's why he's there.  Miranda couldn't have fulfilled that role.

I think she could have done that well, considering the type of player BioWare was trying to pull in for ME3.

Errr, no, I don't mean attract that way.

They needed someone dumber than the new player, someone who knew even less (so you could throw exposition at them (like when you and garrus explain the turian/salarian/krogan history to him on paloven's moon)).

I don't think you wanted Miranda being the dumb character...

What scene(s) did you find Shepard most insane, because I tend to think some of them are "ruthless calculus" than Shepard just being psychotic.

All of the ME2 cast and Wrex don't join "because they could be dead".

Tali, Garrus, Kaidan, and Ashley all join up despite this.

If you aren't seeing the double standard, you need glasses.

It's just OOC.

I like my Shepard to have a sense of humor. There are some downright hilarious Renegade options in ME2.

What are they like in ME3?

"Everyone dies alone."

I wanted a troll not Arthur Schopenhauer.
