And before someone says ''Oh someone like Chuck?''... No. Someone who's not such a goof and is more certain about themselves.

 I also can't imagine this, but it would be so much fun seeing Miranda interact with this kind of person.
I think it will end badly for him ...

I imagine someone intelligent and charismatic, but not a scientist.
He has to be capable and independant like her, but also someone to her liking (attractiveness, personality ...).

Well she didn't find Jacob that bad. So her demands, can't be -that- high. :P I don't think it has to be male copy of herself. If the person has some ''major'' flaws, but is able to live their lives while not letting those flaws hinder them, I think she'd be interested. She might even find someone like that, inspiring even for her.

Maybe he was the best she could find on the sation.
And this could explain why she decided to go on a dating site. She really deserves a better man than Jacob

I also don't think of a male copy of herself, but I think she must be with someone she can consider her equal. That's why I said someone capable and independent.

Personally, I try to RP my Shepard to fit this description.

If you haven't seen this yet:

twitter.com/#!/macwalterslives/status/100203535064498176
"Our goal is to leave no strings dangling... And yes, I believe I've reviewed the odd detail about said Lazarus project."

Since the head of said project is Miranda...what could this odd detail be?

I have a feeling I'm going to be saying "told you so" about Reaper tech. It will put Shepard at tremendous risk and also be key to finally stopping them. They wanted you to bond with and pity Miranda because she is the one responsible and a lot of Sheps will want to toss her out a window.

If I see this boring, overused scenario of... ''HE'S LIKE THEM! HE'S OUR ONLY WAI TO STUP DEM!!'' And Shepard jumps into some Reaper base, intergrates himself with their systems and causes them all to self-destruct, himself included.. I'll facepalm and cry.

Perhaps TIM wanted Shepard alive for a darker purpose, and didn't tell Miri about it. *Shrugs*

I'm going to sell ME3 if this is how we beat the Reapers. If I want to see such pathetic end I'll see Matrix Revolution.

Me too.

I am optimistic that it won't happen - I recall Casey Hudson answering the question about having different kinds of satisfying endings that they think they've pretty much covered all the bases. So - Shepard with integrated Reaper tech, that might happen. I would very much dislike it for it would cheapen the achievement, but I guess I could live with it. But the abovementioned ending scenario I can't see happening. Except as a very optional one.

If they used Reaper technology for bring back Shepard, Miranda surely knew about it. The decision could have been made by TIM, but I doubt that she doesn't know what technology they used to revive him. And she isn't stupid, she can't believe that using Reaper technology couldn't have a (possible) negative outcome.
Not that using Reaper tech have to necessary end bad. I could live with it, if they don't use it to stop the Reapers.

Miri knowing about it could be easily the same, that Liara fans had to go through when ME2 came out. Not all previous Liara fans could like the character after that.

Yes....but if they considered Shepard super-important, and it was the only way to bring him back, Miranda would have done it.

OK, let me make a prediction: it will turn out that there is no Reaper technology in Shepard. He has cybernetic parts, we all know that, and that was the reason why he could be hacked in Overlord. But there is no Reaper technology.

I agree with you, I'm not sayin that she wouldn't have done it. I'm saying that isn't possible that she doesn't know that they used Reaper tech, it they did use it.
And I agree with your prediction. It seems fairly reasonable.
Though I have the doubt they used Reaper tech since I knew that Shepard have been revived.

I stand by my prediction because otherwise his death makes no sense. Why not have him in a coma or marooned instead? Especially since they had no interest in dealing with any of the issues that come with resurrection. Death won't be mandatory, but I'm nearly certain of the tech.

I doubt it's Reaper Tech. It could just be normal cybernetics. Using Reaper Tech could have altered him in some way. And Miri wanted to bring him back as the same person.

TIM wanted to bring him back as the same person. Miranda followed what TIM said, and we know at least one time when Miranda proposed something that could alter Shepard's personality.
Not to mention, but depending on the type of person Shepard could be, I'd agree with Miranda. TIM took a lot of risk with Shep.

In order for Miri to hide from Cerberus, if she needs to (assuming she resigned), can you see her disguised as a Cerberus trooper when you are reunited with her (Depending on the Situation), or she doesn't have to?

I would like an entry to the wishlist:

In ME2, Miranda was set up for failed judgments more than any other character, in spite of her supposedly being good at judging people's motivations. We wish that in ME3, Miranda shows more of the competence she's supposed to have.

(I just realized how much I hate that she's used to make players feel competent when they choose differently than the supposedly competent Miranda and that proves to be correct. Grrr....that's like sacrificing a character on the altar of the player's ego)

Objections? Though I wouldn't mind her retaining the flaw as long as she's competent at something. I don't want Miranda Sue any more than Shepard Stu. I'd go so far as to say poor ability to read others is a consistent trait and it's the flavor text that's in error.

Oh...I wouldn't mind her being wrong about Oriana, for instance. I can see them arguing....Oriana: "You wanted me to have a normal life, but did you ever ask yourself if *I* wanted that?" There are also situations where anyone would be in over their head, to fail there is natural. But I resent that she was clearly set up for failure more than anyone else.

I always considered that Miranda being proved wrong about Niket and TIM was just a way of showying that, just as Shepard puts it; "despite all your upgrades, you're human just like the rest of us". Its no different from trying to convince Mordin to cure the Genophage. Not so much ego-feeding as character development.
