I agree there is only your canon, but I think BioWare intended for certain things to be our canon. We just have to say bull to that and use our own

The content is the evidence. Scientists theorise based on what they see.

What you have isn't evidence. You're doing exactly what the IT people are doing. And that isn't even a theory.

What do you honestly think is more likely?
  • A grand plot to ruin the character that required time and effort
OR
  • Bad writing
Occam's Razor. The simplest answer is most often the correct one.

There is a difference between bad writing and favoring one character over another

Having said that, I don't contest the idea that it is bad. "Why" is more of a moot point, really, in the long run.

I think the why is very important, especially in the long run—and I suspect you do, too. It’s important because exposing it, if you will, can affect future games both at BioWare and elsewhere.

Of course the source material is the evidence.
I'm not in any way claiming they were intending to destroy the character. I'm just suggesting that they thought the tragic arc they wanted the character to be on would be better served by avoiding content that linked her with the big bad and might make her seem less sympathetic as a tragic figure.

She has survived since the E3 demo in 2011. The data from the leak states as much.

Her living is not a last minute decision. She's been just fine for a long time.

Yes.

Just stop.  The only one who has a comperable amount is Ashley/Kaidan.

A common error is looking for evidence to fit a theory instead of a theory to fit the evidence.

If are looking for something you want to see, chances are you'll find it.

I'm not sure that's precisely true. Miranda's Cerberus connection is mentioned a lot, just not in a substantive way. But whatever. Ultimately, the "Was this bad because of specific creative choices or was it just bad?" debate is a fruitless one.

You mistake stereotypes for laziness. Never, ever, underestimate how lazy people can be in these situations.

Occam's Razor in this case is far more telling than a grand plot to ruin the character we all like.

Damn is it refreshing to see someone else arguing for what should be obvious.

Keep it up.

Yeah rather fruitless. Well back to keeping my fingers crossed for some juicy Omega Miranda goodiness.

It's too late to grateful or hateful. As *Cough* David Bowie once sang.

Regardless I'm actually looking for a bit of information that I know one of you knows. An Eclipse Merc ( I think so anyway) states in game that Miranda's father is the richest man in the galaxy.

That isn't true is it? I believe there is one other? Eldfell? Is that correct? I'm simply checking things.

This may or may not be related to porn dumps.

Your porno scene is longer than Jack/Jacob's entire appearance.

Liara's sex scene alone is longer than all of the romance-exclusive content for Miranda in ME3...

I'm convinced you're trolling. Even my friend who's a Liara fan says that you're trolling.
I can name a ton of romance content for Liara easily. In fact, people complain they have to go out of their way just to avoid romancing Liara. You have the best sex scene, and arguably the best dialog.  You had plenty of Liara romance content.

Actually here, lilitheris is right. There is noticeably less romance content compared to the VS and Garrus.

... Okay, how.  Give me details on this.

For the most part, the squaddies all get the same various meet-ups, with romance stuff added in if you've romanced them.

Liara and Ash/Kaidan simply get the most of this (with Tali/Garrus not far behind).

In what way does Liara have less?
