Miranda needs her own place. She'll banish Liara to Thane's old quarters and takes her old rooms. She'd be a better Shadow Broker anyway :P
If you've created a group: where's the link?

Miranda takes the Captains Quarters.

They may be called "Shepard's" but we all know who's really in charge ;)

Not specifically you, but there quite a few who do. There are always trolls and other individuals, but this has long gone too far already.

And no, you can't just blame Luis.

Probably because quite a few people are trying to hate…

Opinion isn’t critique. Critique is ‘she is drawn N instead of M as in the game’, as you demonstrate here. The others don’t afford the same courtesy, but it’s nothing new in this thread.

Personally, I’ve quite liked MEFan’s illustrations.

Maybe, maybe not, but in accepting that people don't like your art, you become an artist. If one cannot accept the criticism, one should reconsider their position. As I said, good or bad, accepting tthe criticism is part of the 'job'. Not everyone agrees with everyone else.

Incorrect. Opinion is exactly critique. It is the weight of that opinion in the critique that varies and determines it's validity, or rather meaning.

You liking his drawings is your personal opinion, but it is also critique, that in the form of feedback. Hard critique that of which I posted is based on informed opinion. But opinion nonetheless.

Miranda's not letting him out of her sight again. 6 months away from him, he nearly being killed multiple times, doing incredibly stupid things to fight the Reapers (from a physical standpoint), and being on a ship full of female admirers.

And she still can't reconcile the fact with herself that she loves him. She still can't quite grasp her attachment to the man.

But it will turn out beautifully for the two of them of course.

No you can't. I say crap to him all the time, but when he's going around with a statement like that, it's time to leave him alone for a while.

You should join us for skype sometime, I have you on there.

I was thinking Tali. Javik needs someone to love. Liara fits that. Thats her only saving grace.

. Tali has Garrus, Javik would probably kill Liara.  He can hook up with Ashley or somebody.  But in my headcanon Liara goes for an involuntary space walk

What I want to point out: Instead of teasing him, this thread could also tolerate a psychological disorder that is clearly present. The last few pages all the bad mood came from the thread while Luis was just being quite normal.

I would love to join sometime on Skype. I have you all in my list, but I am UTC+1 (I think+2 right now) and have never seen anyone of you online...

If you're online I can talk to you right now Mr. Massakka. Call me if you wish.

I've had to adjust MY posts to suit the people in this thread, so it's participatory endeavor. You must take steps to treat the issue yourself.

But I won't change for you either.

If you prefer, you could use the term ‘constructive criticism’. I prefer to differentiate between critique and opinion, instead.

An artist will encounter both, of course, but that’s beside the point, and certainly not an excuse to not be constructive. (You were constructive, as I pointed out in the part I quoted, but others weren’t.)

“I don’t like green” isn’t critique. It’s an opinion.

You know, this place used to be a bastion of intelligent discussion, intense but still friendly.

Now it's character bashing and user harassment aplenty.

Sad.

If you don't bring a topic up there isn't much you can do.

The Skype chats are very productive.

And I've been talking to people about the older threads and have seen posts. This place was never friendly.

No, I can't call right now. Currently playing with a friend and I doubt you would want to listen to German blabbering for hours^^

I heard there are whole conferences being organized?

I joined a year ago. It was friendly enough.

No one threw you a parade for joining, but you could just jump into whatever discussion you wanted. Discussions got heated but never personal. And yes, MEFan was here even longer and though he had his annoying moments, no one was out to get him either.

My German is deplorable so no.

But yes I've been bringing people in for it. We've actually got quite a few people now. I've been adjusting for user times.

It seems that this is  the worst kept secret in the world though.

I think we might get something done this weekend. That way people can talk when everyone is active.

I'm not talking about that. I'm well aware of how things were in the ME2 boards and such. The irony of it all is downright hilarious at times.

I can only comment about the time I was here.

If you're referring to the BSN in general, that's just trolling. Status quo for the internet really. I only mean that for as long as I've been here, this thread was mostly free of it.

It was also mostly on topic. Personal insults were infrequent, though yes, debate could get heated. No one freaked out if a few hours passed without posting. Debate and discussion was more substantive as well.

I miss the old days.

I've seen no indication of that. The only difference now is that the people who once had the majority opinion are now the minority.

I've seen certain posts and talked with people here. Old timers. The bullies are now the bullied.

Care to provide examples?

I believe that the thread is entitled "Warming up to Miranda." You might even Google it. It should turn up in the results. It's locked now obviously.

You might also talk to some of older users here.

I'm not singling anyone out but I really don't see a difference from this thread to that one.

Difference of opinion? Shut them down in the thread. It hasn't changed.
