Well, I mean, you can use all the renegade responses to her if you want. It's fun to just pile on and try to bring her to tears.

If you're a jerk.

Which I am.

i prefer being a smart ass, like love saying " your grasp of the obvious is inspiring " in ME1 . wish there were more lines like that

It's not a jab, it's a statement of a fact. I didn't name names because I didn't need to. There has simply been very little change that's all. The only difference is who is carrying the torch at the time.

More people are coming.

While there was a general consensus on some aspects of Miranda's character you have yet to prove how this has negatively impacted the thread as whole.

So no, it is not "just fact". Not at of it.

Oh it is. You didn't adress the others who were supporting me a few pages back. People are well aware of the circus this place has turned into at times.

People simply aren't talking about the things certain people want  and it leads to fights. Some of the discussion are incredibly productive but only so far. Most people in the majority now don't speak openly still because they fear reprisal from the minority.

There is either a wave of positivity or a wave of negativity, mainly about things people refuse to accept. Said things won't be changing so it's best to move on.

People think differently, so there of course is going to be a difference of opinions everywhere.

We need to get this back to a place where we can simply show our passion for Miranda (and related material. And an off topic little thing isn't always a bad thing.)

@kratos Why...why didn't Shepard do that to her in the game?

She may have gotten mad in public but she'd love it deep down.

It really is a shame yes.

Well at least we got this:

My comments were quite clear. I invoked nothing of majorities or minorities. I simply said that when I first joined, we carried intelligent fruitful discussion, whereas now there seems to be more character bashing and personal attacks.

Basically, this thread has turned into what the Tali thread used to be. I have little motivation to wade through twenty pages of fluff, chat, trolling and personal attacks to find the two or three posts worth reading. Following the thread has become a chore.

I'd rather have one page per day of interesting posts than this. It's a sad state of things after two and a half years.

You have a rather limited view of interesting. Perhaps you should broaden your horizons.

(ad homenum attack against anyone who likes synthesis)

But seriously, this is one of the most active threads for a reason, maybe chill out and stop being so holier-than-thou for a bit?

If you are referring to me.... DUCK YOU!! :crying:

But if you are referring to Ieldra, than yes, Ieldra, you have a tendency to come off as condescending and almighty.

People have a tendency to mistake an opinion for a threat here. I don't talk any differntly in film debates. I see no reason to be any different here.

Even this was rather limited. I really liked it, but it could benefit from some work.

FC, if the words "angry", "crazy", or "screw you for kiling ash" aren't involved, I'm clearly not referring to youImage IPB

And I disagree, i think Horizon was perfect except for the part where she can't get medical attention on the Normandy.  The scene itself was wonderbar though.

It was quite short yes.

It's like the scene was coming to a crescendo, but it faided away.

Nothing i hate more than a scene or a song  that gets anti-climatic......the frustration
But it was good enough

It lacks the good luck kiss. I really think it needed that. Otherwise it was great. My Shepard would be reacting with a bit more emotion since his love was nearly killed. He nearly didn't make it to her in time.

**** prison I have head canon.

She'd get Shepard out of there and keep him safe until he recovered. He would be capable of offering a pardon as he's still a Spectre.

Miranda did in turn operate (loose,y under Alliance control, see her war asset info). I think she'd be given a pardon, and if all else fails Shepard can pardon her

Yeah he was silly. He supports them. Not in ME3 mind you, they've been indoctrinated, but he certainly isn't going back to the alliance. Those ****ers nearly let the galaxy burn. Same with the council.

There needs to be a group like Cerberus to fight the elements that those groups are too cowardly or indecisive to face. To do the hard and difficult things the alliance and council won't do.

TIM was a madman, but he was a madman with a plan, and that's more than Shepard can say of anyone in the alliance or the council.

Hackett's plan actually worked.

Your shep is just a traitor yo.

Who's the traitor yo?

The one who stands up for the alliance no matter what? Or the one who stands up for the entire galaxy despite the alliance?

Hackett didn't have a plan. My Shep tells him straight up that its to save the galaxy that he'll work with the alliance. And he makes it abundantly clear that HE is in charge. None of that "sir" crap to Hackett or Anderson.

He's a Spectre, and he outranks them. The only use he has from being one to him.

My Shepard is like Willard in Apocalypse Now. Not as ****ed up in the head, but pretty independent. TIM is like Kurtz. Insane, yet ingenious at the same time.
