And it doesn't even have to be armor. I'd be happy with a classy casual outfit. What she has now looks cheap. The white outfit is dreadful and the black has more than a whiff of dominatrix gear.

I like Miri's Loyalty outfit (not the Cerberus Logo though)

But I think that BioWare may redesign that outfit. OR, they'll probably change the outfit COMPLETELY.

Either way, I hope that Miri will have a Wonderful Redesign (NO Cerberus logo since she RESIGNED in MY story), knowing now that BioWare WILL redesign her.

And Like I said, I hope that she will STILL be voiced by AND modeled after Yvonne Strahovski.<3<3<3<3

Thank you! Using that now.

--------------------------

For amor I'm still hoping for what they showed in the magazines...
It would make a great entrance:  Your fighting against Cerberus troopers and out of no where this elite appears and kills the Cerberus troopers with a combination of biotics and guns with acrobatics.  As the squad is momentarily confused over what just happened, the elite takes off her helmet shakes her head to let down her hair.  Squadmate asks "Who is that?" OR "Look who it is" and Shepard responds with a smile: "Miranda"

What an entrance!

If you're going by what was shown at the E3 demo one thing you should know is that the other redesigns probably weren't ready to be shown just yet so they used the models from ME2 (Mordin, Tali)

Developers have said everyone is getting a redesign:
We didn't get to see the redesigned Jack FYI

Vertigo where did you hear that all the characters, besides Ashley of course, would get a redesign in ME3? Are you certain Mranda will get a redesign? That would be awesome as long as she looks sexier and more beautiful than ever before!!!! Image IPBImage IPB

I don't mind some minor changes, but I don't want a complete "redesign" (I hate that word). The less changes, the better.
And please no armor (since they don't know what light armors means anymore), or make it optional for those who want it.

Developer said this in a recent ME3 Magazine article.
He mentioned everyone would be getting a redesign (it would vary in degree of course)

I doubt it will be a complete redesign...Kaidan only got heavy armor as one example

They said squad armor customization will be more than they had in ME2 so this will likely happen.

And Yannkee yeah not a complete redesign of course but perhpas make her more beautiful, you know enhancements, perhpas that a better word to use to enhance her looks. Like perhaps highlighting her eyes or adding some make up, minor stuff. And yeah no armor that's a must ! Would be a CRIME to to cover that perfect body of hers GOD lol. MAn i really hope Bioware is listening to us Miranda fans Image IPBImage IPB

I mostly meant that BoiWare might redesign her outfit. I wonder if she
s have a different hair style?

I don't want Armor either really.

It doesn't match her cheracter.

Are you two related?

Anyway I doubt they will do anything drastic like they did with Ashley. Some minor things to her armor/catsuit, fix the 'valey' and improve the lighting on her face like they did with other characters, etc

Are you referring to her hairline Vertigo? And lol no we aren't related lol. But yeah definitely hope Yvonne voices her again, I was just reading right now that she said she wasn't allowed to comment on whether she would voice act in ME3, but i mean these guys sign binding contracts right? And also, We would all be quite upset haha, this whole thread would riot

Kaidan in heavy armor : to me, one of the worst news about ME3 so far. <_<
I don't think armor customization means that you will be able to change the type of armor. It will certainly be like the N7 armor : something already bulky, that you can make even more bulky.
I said "optional" because many players like the jumpsuits and don't want that Bioware removes it from the character because others prefer to have her in armor.

While Ashley and Miranda do not necessarily have any influence on Shepard's decisions, they nonetheless represent a set of dualities of principles that are often grouped together. Where Shepard stands regarding these principles will influence his decisions. So no, Ashley and Miranda don't influence, but they do symbolize. I'm thinking the writers wrote them that way intentionally.

I must have not being paying attention, what sort of things do they actually symbolize ('fire' and 'ice' is pretty nebulous imo)? I think they're far more similiar than dissimiliar at least. They're both career driven, strong and fiercely independent young women. They are both competent and even protective of their own ideals and both have their feelings on where they want humanity.

Could it be that what you're getting at is their respective 'paragon-ness' or 'renegade-ness'?

Changing the subject a little though; I romance Ashley during the course of ME1 with the same sort of inevitability that I find myself when I come to ME2 and finding myself romancing Miranda. But I guess I'm ruthless, because I sacrifice Ashley on Virmire because while I like her:
• Kaidan is a superior officer.
• Kaidan is a biotic.
• I always put her with the bomb by some accident of fate (because I never really pay attention to the part where you choose :\\)

I always try and look at the 'bigger picture,' but personally I hope in ME3 I run into other members of Ashley's family and want to see how they react.

Valey as in that part of her face that shows up a bit too much under certain lighting
I don't have pitcures of it to show but it happens in game sometimes.
I'm sure others have noticed this

I mean for squadmates which you were referring to

Hudson said there would be more customization to squad armor than in ME2, I'm thinking they will have the option to change outfits in ME3 as well as perhaps have stats to each outfit?

The pieces of armor is something they will probably keep for Shepard only...

I think you're grasping at straws. Shots were fired during Miranda's escape and he hired a merc squad to kidnap Oriana. Nothing I know about him leads me to believe he's anything other than a monster.

That's just it though: there's not much we do 'know' about him. Considering Niket was her trusted childhood friend and he only recently learnt that Miranda escaped with her baby sister, I think it's more than a little premature to judge Mr. X, because what other things could Miranda 'be hiding' or simply didn't think 'prudent to tell'?

Any dealings we have with him now though will hardly be unbiased imo... which is why I thought it was a good idea when I put up my huge big ideas thread a while ago in how much do you want to interact with Mr. X. if it meant you could refit ships for a fraction of the cost, at the expense of 'giving up' Oriana.

All that's immaterial now though I'm guessing, it's highly likely that any super huge muckity-muck, especially from Eldfell-Ashland, would be on Earth...

I was referring to the squadmate armor customization too.
I think they will use the N7 armor customization system for squadmates armor. The problem is this doesn't change the armor type, if the base armor is already bulky I doubt you will able to remove parts to make it lighter.

I think the stats will be on the armor parts.

If they do that it would be suprising to be honest, but we don't know yet for sure.
I doubt they will since they said it would be more than what they had in ME2 but they never said "It's going to be the same thing you can do with Shepard in ME2 w/ pieces"

I find it rather infuriating that she's the one actor that apparently actually agrees to contract stipulations about confidentiality! (well, if she actually is doing it of course).

I mean Tricia happily spilt the beans, so did Seth... or that because those two were voicing for the stage demo at E3.

Or maybe it's because Yvonne isn't nearly as high profile as those two, ergo her job is much less secure (because she still wants to build her profile).

Maybe because PR allowed them too?
Jack's VO commented but did not confirm if she has done work on ME3 yet

The underlined part is what is more likely to have happened.
Also: Previews mentioned characters that we ended up seeing/hearing @ E3: Mordin, Legion, Wrex, Liara, Garrus, Ashley, Anderson
If the previews had mentioned Miranda (in detail like the ones I listed..) then she would have no doubt made an appearance at E3.

um, that's not what i meant in either case - i actually meant that miranda's running of (as an example only of something important) Lazarus could be considered very important by future generations, however without shepard to ensure said generations, there'd be no story anyway, so it's kind of a catch-22 -- this applies to JTav's churchill example, too.

If we get an heroic sacrifice option, then it will be as in ME2. Shepard does his job, the galaxy is saved, but Shepard doesn't survive. He's only super-important up to that point. So even if Shepard knows he's the only one who can save the galaxy (which is far from certain, his uniqueness is the players' and writers' perspective), he might believe he's going to be nothing more than a war relic after everything's done. He's in a way been remade for this war. He might also believe he's living on borrowed time. There are various possibilities why Shepard might reasonably believe Miranda is more important to humanity's future than himself.
