I choose Control. My problems with Synthesis boil down to narrative inconsistency rather than ethics. I hate Destroy with the burning heat of a thousand suns.

Careful, else you'll come across like clennon :P

Intellectually I'm ok with the EC version of Destroy, even if it's my least favorite option, but the fanatics on the forums have turned me off it.

That wasn't what I meant. I wanted a decision about the data, but it would not have involved betraying Miranda or not. The main Miranda-related decision would've been to make her take over Cronos Station and what remains of Cerberus destroy it all.

That would've been awesome.

Forget the Oriana thing, that was done in ME2.  I would've loved for Miranda's ME3 involvement to be her slowly peeling away the layers of Cerberus so Shep could focus on the Reapers and gaining allies.  I felt like I was just juggling too much stuff in ME3, and it became chaotic.  Miranda can handle Cerberus until she needs the cavalry to storm Cronos Station.  I'll deal with the Reapers.

I like the concept of Synthesis but I think it would work better if it was just Shepard becoming synthesized instead of all life everywhere suddenly being changed at the molecular level. Then the epilogue could hint at the potential for others to join Shepard (similar to the JC Denton ending of Deus Ex: Invisible War)

I'm not opposed to the idea of Destroy it's just that it's a bit of a pain when there's a conversation about Control or Synthesis and someone comes in with "Y U NO CHOOSE DESTROY?!". We get it, you like that option.  The other thing is that in the entire time that the Crucible was constructed nobody thought to write an operations manual or at least breif Shepard on how the thing was thought to be set off?:

Alliance Medical Center, Lowell City, Mars

Miranda: You do know that there was an activation icon for the Crucible.

Shepard: I didn't notice it, blood loss must have been messing with my head.

Miranda: Really? Shooting out a capacitor that was designed to store ten gigawatts of energy seems like more of an effort than touching an icon.

Shepard: That's what I get for listening to the kid.

Miranda: What kid?

Shepard: The one that told me what the Crucible could do. Said it was the intelligence that guided the Reapers and it lived in the Citadel or something like that. Everything after running to that beam is hazy, I have no if what I saw there was real or just some kind of dream.

Conceptually, I'd like something that just seems "bigger" than everything.

Have Shepard meet the eternal, immortal energy beings behind the Reapers or something. I haven't thought it out.

He alone transcends but returns in his human form to defeat the Reapers once more. Then you get a choice to ascend to godhood or stay mortal and be with Miranda.

Weirdness on my part. But he's different, changed. It seems so much cooler for whatever reason.

Just about anything can be good if it's presented properly.

The ultimate fight for me would be between these 5 ladies (who are my 5 favorite fictional female characters as well. And my favorite actress of course.):

Coming in at #1 is the perfect Australian woman Miranda Lawson of course. Played by the lovely Miss Yvonne Strahovski, as you all know.

At #2 is the beautiful and dangerous Agent Sarah Walker, CIA. Again portrayed by Miss Strahovski

P.S. Sorry I'm ultra bored right now. And I feel like an obsessed fanboy. I need some beer.

Hey nothing wrong with that! Especially since all those characters totally kick ass.

I've never listed my top five fic (sci fi/video game) female characters...but I'm thinking something like this:

Miranda, Starbuck (BSG), Bastilla, Sarah Walker, Lt. Ellen Ripely.

There are so many more. Not sure if I can even rank them effectively haha.

At #3 is the beautiful and mysterious Jedi Knight, Bastila Shan. Voice-acted by the talented Jennifer Hale.

At #4 is the first (and only for a long time) woman who stole 007's heart. Vesper Lynd, played by the inimitable French darling, Eva Green.

And at #5, is the Psychic Ice Queen of the Hellfire Club, and later, the X-Men, Marvel's Miss Emma Frost.

I'm sure all of you can see the pattern in the choice of women that I prefer. I was discussing this on skype last night with several of you.

Cool, Mysterious, Very Beautiful, and incredibly competent at their jobs.

Physically, they have piercing sapphire eyes, striking pale skin, and either raven black or golden blonde hair.

Minus Sarah Walker, they all have a commonwealth accent as well.

Started watching BSG recently, and I like Starbuck. I don't actually find her attractive (not that she isn't) but I like the character. I think the best moment I've seen so far is when she punches Lee and he just straight up socks her one right back.

Well, I really enjoyed reading the posts earlier about Miranda and her father who and what should have happened and all the speculation around them. Gave me some really good story ideas. :-P
