Thought a bit more about the Phoenix Group. I've always wanted Miranda to have TIM's space station, but I don't think Miranda is such a recluse. She'd want to be nearer to civilization. So now I'm thinking there'll be a similar space station - the HQ of the non-clandestine part of the group - orbiting some important and reasonably central world. Where would you think it should be? Earth? Bekenstein? Elysium?

Bekenstein is conveniently close to the Citadel, but that's maybe a bit too close for comfort.  And I think it got mauled pretty hard by the Reapers too.

I'd say either Elysium or Terra Nova, older and more established colonies with trade routes, information, connections, etc.

I just noticed that someone on the last page talked about a capacitor storing "gigawatts of energy." The watt is a unit of power, not energy...

Also, since modern capacitors are typically on the scale of microFarads, that would be...fairly unlikely, I would think. I understand it's the future and technology is going to improve, but I'm not sure it's going to improve by a trillionfold.

Miranda: What about Eden Prime?

Shepard: It's not being repopulated.

Miranda: Why not?

Shepard: Well...

Alliance Colonial Affairs Office

Agent: We've got plenty of spots for phase one recolonization of Eden Prime.

Colonist: Wait, wasn't that place massacred by the Geth?

Agent: We fixed the damage!

Colonist 2: Didn't Cerberus forces then proceed to kill all of the colonists working at an archeological did there?

Colonist 3: Yeah I heard about that! Then the Reapers wiped the capital city off the face of the planet.

Agent: You folks don't have to worry, the Alliance provides all of it's colonies with a local defence garrison.

Colonist: Fat lot of good those do. I mean we can't go a week without having a place attacked by pirates, slavers, or the occasional eldritch abomination. You might as well have us defend ourselves with sticks and harsh language.

Colonist 2: You know what? I'm not sure this colonist life is worth the risk.

Colonist 3: Yeah, what's the point of paying taxes to the Alliance when they can't even bother to protect us?

Colonist: Come on let's go.

I'm curious if this supposed 'Project Phoenix' is alien inclusive or not.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't think about pulling that quote, but it would have meant that I can't be the hero, at least right now. I'd have to wait.

I don't like waiting.

Using the quote on forums has gone beyond cliché. I was cringing at myself the whole time I was writing it.

Also, Miri, because posting in the Miranda thread intimidates me.

The Miranda thread is not for the faint of heart, that's for sure. You need to have balls of steel to post here...ovaries too, I guess. :D

Your welcome to post in this thread if you like, even as a guest on my behalf. I think that much of you dawg.  You will be my "plus one", if you will.

Who knows, maybe one day you will be totally converted as I was, though I was always conflicted on my LI choices. ;)

Edit: Anways, I'm off again. Time to go play some more Assassin's Creed. I'll be back later, rest assured.

Cool bro, much appreciated.
Though the 'total conversion' scenario is unlikely. I like Miranda, but my canon Shep won't be bedding her any time soon. He has eyes for only one.

However, my 15 year old brother has just started playing Mass Effect, and he's gunning for Miranda. If he likes what he finds, I might direct him to this thread.
But remember, he's 15, so any conversation with him will likely be about her ****** and arse.

. I'd say somewhere hidden but still able to be close enough to developed worlds for convenience's sake.  I'm thinking a space station in Sol but beyond Gagarin station

Hey, GT! Welcome to the Miranda thread, I'm also a huge Liara fan and I've seen you on her thread. Things are a bit different here, but we're alright. BTW, loved the Lawesome.

Ah, you've returned.

I'm sure somebody somewhere else needs someone to be a condescending jackwagon to them, so away with you.

As I've always maintained that of all the LI's, only Miranda feels like a true love interest.

For the FemSheps, I get that from Thane.
