I'm curious if this supposed 'Project Phoenix' is alien inclusive or not.

What if I told you that some of use are going to have some very grateful alien species out there. Wrex and Eve are going to be great allies. And Primarch Victus knows his stuff.

Help yourselves to help better others in the long run.

Lemon tell you a story...I was in a squad full of Volus when the Reapers attacked. I held the line on my own giving the other Biotic Gods! time to escape. They made it into a shuttle but when it took off the Reapers destroyed it. I was alone after that... in the middle of a jungle world. I thought I was going to go crazy but I held strong and hijacked a Reaper Capital Ship and made it off world.

Thought a bit more about the Phoenix Group. I've always wanted Miranda to have TIM's space station, but I don't think Miranda is such a recluse. She'd want to be nearer to civilization. So now I'm thinking there'll be a similar space station - the HQ of the non-clandestine part of the group - orbiting some important and reasonably central world. Where would you think it should be? Earth? Bekenstein? Elysium?

Being a recluse is exactly what Shepard and Miranda shouldn't do. Sitting and stewing alone instead of interfacing with the people you're supposed to protect is a sure fire way to become disconnected.

But I like your idea, like seriously. Like you've got me excited now. Really excited.

A HQ for something like that? Why not choose a place that represents power and stability? I mean, you've got a new organization up and running, why not do just as you've suggested? Although it might be difficult with the Citadel being right there above the Earth.

Someplace that needs to be representative of the idea? I keep hearing Illos in the back of my head and the front keeps telling at me to shut up.

AIRBORNE!!!

Sorry, you said grab your beret. I wear the black one, but I'm qualifed to wear the Maroon Beret.

In all honesty, the military beret was a terrible idea for standard soldiers. It's ok with the dress uniform, but in the utility and combat uniforms, it's like wearing a wet sock on your head. And it gives no eye protection from sunlight.

I'm all for the Airborne, Ranger, and SF berets though. It's part of their Espirit de Corps.

I agree, though it'll be allied with other governments and species, it's primary purpose is the same as Cerberus - the advancement and preservation of the human race. At least for me.

Ha! I would never want to be an All-Alcoholic out of Fayettenam!

During my deployment, I was attached to a HUMINT company with the 173rd.

Plus my Guard unit is on active jump status.

I'm an Intel Guy. We have a little bit more brains that the thog smashers over there.

Oh no I apologize I should have been a bit more direct. You're more than welcome to join at a later date if you'd like. I was thanking you and I was talking to everyone else. Sorry for the confusion!

I'm simply organizing thoughts. We'll have a lot of ladies here tonight so it'll be insightful. Three of them hopefully.

You're more than welcome to join my dear. Should you ever get Skype I can certainly give you contact information. If I can figure it out I know you can.

It's fun topic to discuss but we can't discuss certains aspects due to well...text and the occasional dirty word. :?

Nope, never been to Bragg. Don't want to go either. I do get to brief SF guys though. I'd love to get put up with an SF unit running HUMINT or CI with them.

Nope, I got sent over to Stan with an Active Airborne Unit, the 173rd, and had to get my BPB (from Lawson Army Air Field, btw ;)).

And thank you for the College Money! I made Officer thanks to the fine American taxpayers. And to your service, HOOAH!

Let's not derail the thread any further though.

@Taboo > Typo! On my screen name, too. I'm hurt.
Thanks for the tip, if I ever feel the urge to discuss such topics with French Mirimancers, I'll know where to look.
Also, which musician? EDIT> how would anyone recognize a musician's voice?
And, wait, what?

Ever felt like a "hero" that was "under pressure"?

Or an "Oddity" of some kind?
