Thought a bit more about the Phoenix Group. I've always wanted Miranda to have TIM's space station, but I don't think Miranda is such a recluse. She'd want to be nearer to civilization. Ilos is too remote. Something that is reasonably central and represents humanity's advancement is Elysium. You know, in the Petra Nebula, the same system where Grissom Academy is stationed, and where the Alliance made its stand against the attack from the Terminus systems.

The space around Earth is too overcrowded. If it was located in the Sol system, it would have to be in the Jupiter orbit or suchlike, and that's several hours from Earth at sublight speeds.

It could be a space station orbiting a lone star just like Cronos, or hidden betwen systems like the herethic base from ME2. The organization should be protecting mankind from the shadows.

Elysium, or Elysian Fields were essentially a step up from Hades in Greek Mythology. What you're looking at is a connection to an early form of the concept of a Christian "Heaven". Read about it here.

Elysium was reserved at first for those who were related to the Gods and later heroes and the blessed.

Are Shepard and Miranda blessed? Or are they Heroes/Helden? 

Funny how that song is about two lovers seperated by war and circumstance.
