And I don't think Miranda should have a lightsaber. You need the Force to properly use one (and don't you say Grievous) and if Miranda had the Force she'd probably fall to the dark side.
"Grey" Jedi. Even I know what that is. She'd be one of those.

That's a disaster waiting to happen. Miranda needs fabulous outfits and a gun.
An animation exists with her holding a shotgun sans shotgun in ME2. I can't imagine her firing one.
...so she's holding nothing?
Yes that's what I said.
Her model is in the position for holding a shotgun. She looks weird.
There's another glitch on Haestrom when talking to Kal Reegard her butt is right in Shepard's face. It makes the conversation ridiculous.
I've had this happen. It was amusing to say the least.
All sorts of "blocking the sun" jokes were made.

But she has a lot of anger and a lot of unresolved issues. And then there's the way she drops everything for Oriana...
That and the pragmatism we all applaud her for could get her into trouble as well.
It's not certain. But the risk is there.
She could of course be more like Mara Jade.

Glitch or the most accurate Miranda conversation ever, ever?
You decide.

Regarding pragmatism she isn't TIM and that's pretty clear. But I would agree that it would cause her some issues if she wasn't careful.
Miranda tempers (the amount differs from person to person) by the end of ME2.
You've lost me past that though.

She could have moved a bit. They were flirting at that point on the Normandy so doing so in a firefight was totally OOC.
You can do that later Miranda.
There's a really funny picture out there of her teasing him with her butt while sitting on a table.

It's not about being pefect. It's about having mastery of your emotions. Being in full control of what you are and not allowing yourself to slip into darkness. Or something to that effect. Jedi (and more broadly the Force) aren't something I can describe in a few sentences and going on a rant would be way off topic.Taboo-XX wrote...
Miranda isn't perfect. That's been stressed throughout two games. She's human and faulty like the rest of us.

Mara Jade is a good analogue for Miranda and the two are very similar (she's a character from the EU by the way, first introduced in the Thrawn trilogy which are recognized to be some of the best, if not the best novels of the EU, almost fully capturing the feel of the original trilogy). Mara started out as an Imperial, answerable directly to the Emperor (her title was Emperor's Hand). During her service she sought out traitors to the Empire and eliminated them. She was trained in basic Force abilities (though not in Sith ways) and had a lightsaber. She was cold and ruthless yet had a naivete about her, fully believing in the justness of her cause and her Emperor (much like Miranda initially does with TIM). After the Emperor was killed she lost her power and hated Luke for a while, blaming him for the loss of everything she knew in her life. Eventually she joins his side and ends up falling for him, regaining her powers and becoming a Jedi Master in her own right. Even as a Jedi she retains much of the cold practicality of an Imperial Agent while at the same time still being a Jedi, (later) a mother and all around, part of the "good guys".
Hmm. Her and Miranda have a lot more in common than I first realized.

1. I'm in there a lot too, it's just not as active.
2. I like both characters (they're my fav 2 by far and my one non-ashmance shep is a mirimancer).
3. You guys are fun.

All solid reasons. Likin' it. Perhaps we should drop in on the Ash thread to say hi. Seems only fair.

As for emotions one shouldn't mistake control from forced removal in Miranda's case, which she does, just like Shepard, just in different areas.

I'd have to go with Legion. Having a geth as a squad mate is just too great. Otherwise, Wrex.Steelcan wrote...
