Sorry about dipping out of the Skype chat earlier. I wasn't in the greatest of moods at the time, as the Cowboys were being annihilated by DA BEARWS.
DAAAAA Bears.

Hot_Heart is the guy to go to for all her stuff though.
*Amazing picture*
I might actually include an 'easter eggs' thing when I finish my fic (whenever that is...) for people to spot all the in-game nods and external references, things like that.
But I think you may know more than me, actually. Plus, that is a cool pic I had not seen before, thanks!
On the Dexter topic, as I was saying to kratos, if she is an antagonist, that seems like far too many for one season going by the first episode. Either she's there for the long-game or she could be a wrongly-suspected antagonist. I think a romantic relationship has been as much as confirmed but that doesn't point either way.
Now I shall depart because there is work to do and I don't have any Miranda-related discussion and it all seems to happen on Skype.

Ironically, Miranda might have received better treatment had she been dead by default, rather than being the token character killed during the game.

Gladly. Miranda right now serves the function of the sympathetic character who dies just before the climax to give the heroes extra personal motive to kill the villains. She's written in such a way as to make the new player be horrified and outraged at her death, which meant sanding away the sharp edges and downplaying her connection to Cerberus. If she had been inport-only, there may have been less of a drive to make her "likable" and more motive to address the controversial aspects of her character because any player seeing her content already knew about it.
Or not. See Thane. But her current role does her no favors. The main problem was her writer.

There are two, TWO, better versions of this song.
Nina Simone and Muse.

Oh, yeah, she does seem to have a knack for imbuing her characters with an electric and magnetic (electromagnetic?!) personality.fiendishchicken wrote...
It's the way she portrays her characters that bring a sort of grounded, yet attractive feeling too her. Miranda and Sarah Walker are very magnetic characters to me.

Oh yes,"jay w."
He didn't write Miranda, he just tried. And all we heard about him something like "sorry to screthe characters you like, I'll try to do better next time." That won't fix anything.
Damn bioware, delegating a complex character to a noob writer...

Somehow that remind me one of my post from long time ago. It was a pessimist comment (and way before the leak),about the no information about the ME2 characters. It was something like...
"You won't have any ME2 character back in the squad, but you'll have the ME1 squad back and the awesome Vega."
And, it was true!!!
