Don't worry, I always let the other person talk first. Anyone who's been on Skype knows that. If you want to say something you will get your chance. And if we talked at the same time I'll always let you go first. Always.

I did notice that in the first call I attended.

I'll try to join in on the fun tonight, if the fun happens.

No promises.

You're a man after my own heart.

I adore that image, and not for the reasons you may think. :P

It's a defining moment, one I'm glad Bioware did. And it works, plain and simple.

Can you feel it bro? The art? It hits me right in the feels.

...but shepard doesn't promise her. In fact, shortly after that, Jtav pushes him into a synthesis beam and he never sees her again :(

^ I lol'd harder than I thought I would at your post. I'm still laughing as I type this.

My Shepard has more important things to do than dabble in what amounts to something less than Pseudo-Science. Bahahaha.

But yeah, that's a sweet scene and I'm really glad they didn't shoe-horn a death in there.

Or do the thing some of you all said was rumored and forced her to leave. That would have been terrible.

SUPER TRBL!

I'll restate myself.

Naked bed wrestling > Simpsons-esque humor ending

Can you top this?

I'll stick with the naked wrestling for canon instead of the Cronenberg inspired face morphing.

Me too, but that video is very funny.

Of course, anything with Gmod is usually funny as hell.

Are you down for a discussion on women in art tonight dawg or are you not that srs? I was actually going to shift gears if we couldn't get enough people tonight. We had three last night.

Miranda will of course be there. Perhaps Tali and the others as well.

I'll try to be there. I need to be in a certain mood to have a srs discussion, though. I'm usually aloof and stuff.

Well we talk about in a rather blunt manner. It's srs business. Joking aside even the way she's framed is discussed.

And her position in the engine room. That was a rather enlightening discussion.

She's in the dominant position in the engine room dawg. She owns Shepard.

I'm more of a listener than a talker, though. I like to listen to other people's interpretations of things than tell my own.

What I mean is is that you can discuss the way it LOOKS too. The way it's framed tells you a lot.

But if you'd simply like to participate that's cool too. Any sort of chiming in is welcomed though.

Oh, I don't know, I rather like what happens in my head after Shepard jumps in the beam. "I did promise I'd find you." Death just isn't what it used to be.

Though I rather like the idea of Miranda moving on, too.

All said and done, I'd still give ME3 8/10, there's not much wrong with the game, it just did not live up to expectations. Maybe 9/10 with EC

With, it gets a 6/10 from me (I'm feeling generous today), 4/10 without.

Endings aside, there's still...

F**k it, I've winded myself enough on this already. Everyone knows my problems with the game. By itself, it can pass as a decent title. As the finale to a franchise, it's terrible. As a finale for Mass Effect, it's unholy.

How is death not what it used to be? If recreating Lazarus were so easy, why aren't there more resurrected people? Like, if Wrex is dead, just whip him back into shape for Tuchanka. Lazarus was accomplished once, and it isn't happening again (Or was that message not hammered in hard enough?) in any of the current casts' lifetimes, besides maybe Liara and Wrex/Wreav.

If the single, isolated, not-at-all-publicized account of Lazarus suddenly renders death without merit, why is the death of certain characters so "detrimental" (I use that term with extreme caution) to the war effort?
