What I mean is is that you can discuss the way it LOOKS too. The way it's framed tells you a lot.

But if you'd simply like to participate that's cool too. Any sort of chiming in is welcomed though.

Yeah, I guess I don't get as...philosophical is a good word for it, I guess. I can do it, though.

I'll give it the ol' college try. B)

Don't worry though, things can get pretty smarmy.

Barring someone says something that gets me excited and I lose the ability to speak it's pretty easy listening.

It happened twice actually. One when Asakowa said something about Miranda's role and once when katcrave said something about Miranda's relationship with Shepard.

It was pretty bad. Then again this IS why we have these chats. Go ahead ask. I just jabber on completely amazed at what I had just heard.

I actually have a really bad feeling about this. Petrovsky will be a one-note villain and we'll be forced to hand Omega back to Aria.

Yep definitely my fear that it will be a garbage linear railroaded shoot evil cerberus goons affair. I certainly won't be going any near buying it till i get some detail(that i like the sound of) after how mediocre me3 was.

Am I the only one who doesn't know who Petrovsky is?

Can Ashely and I shoot him in the face? If so, good enough for me.

I want to say "no, that's a stupid idea" but then I remember March 6th.

A minor problem amongst MANY others. A new character being portrayed as a "Myaah"villain shouldn't shock you at this point.

Stop aestheticizing things like that. You'll save yourself disappointment, especially in Bioware games.

Five bucks and krukow's left eye says that the Mages will be portrayed as the victims more so than the Templars in DAIII. Watch, then the Chantry supports will boo hoo about that as well.

These games follow a VERY predictable path.

I dunno about that. Mages and Templars were both pretty dickish in DA2. Not a difficult formula to follow.

I thought it was pretty clear who the victim was regardless of what happened to the Chantry. You oppress people long enough and they revolt.

Imagine that.

But Anders? LOL

...but shepard doesn't promise her. In fact, shortly after that, Jtav pushes him into a synthesis beam and he never sees her again :(

(a) I recall Shepard saying "I promise"
(B) Cyrus Shepard needed no pushing
© He'll see Miranda again. Because you know - he promised. The way there will just be a little more involved than simply surviving. But there's a precendent for that, as Miranda knows all too well.

:P

I thought he said "no promises" to her at Horizon? Like, the inverse of their talk from earlier?

I could be wrong.

And synthesized Shep is dead yo.

Sorry.

I don't know. That sounds pretty sappy to me Ieldra. =] It reminds me of Solaris actually. Have you seen that? The Russian version?

Super MAC's Darkness cannot be breached. There must be a cost.

IIRC, the general mage population was pretty docile (Aside from the routine blood magic and "underground railroad-ing") until Meredith ordered the rite of annulment (which itself was because of Anders).

Ha, I think 'grimdark energy' and the 'the darkness cannot be breached' are funny terms for ME3's story.

They were still being opressed. You know that.

Isabela has a pretty hilarious line about the Chantry as well. "Smells like...repression."

I have no sympathy for either Anders or Meredith though.

Yeah, but they weren't revolting, which was my point.

They are now. That was my point. I seem to recall the ****storm it was going to cause.

Amongst the many "Do you have any idea what you've done?" lines.'

It's also been two years since I've played the game. I'll have to have another go here soon.

It gives you an idea, your lover coming back. Solaris is a beautiful movie. Although in the case of the film it really isn't his wife. It's the planet's...whatever.

Then of course the ending comes and the whole thing is turned around.

She is simply what he remembers of her, not her truly.

And the end........will she come back ?

How complete will the reconstruction in Synthesis be? That's an interesting point you raise kratos. Not even the planet Solaris could help Kris out. No matter how hard he tried it wasn't his wife. And even then she still had all the marking of her suicide on her.

Is it legitimate? Is it just a shell of the woman he once loved?

OK, so watching BSG, I'm wondering who thought it was a good idea to put Tricia Helfer in a humanoid robot body and have her inquire about love. :P

Check the red spine. Now I'm left wondering if EDI does the same thing with Joker.

This was not something I needed to think about. Ever.
