It's really too bad about the MP. It is really good, better than I ever expected, but I don't feel motivated to play it. I need a story to motivate me. So I'm putting my hopes in more SP DLC. With Miranda if at all possible. Even another set of e-mails would be acceptable in the case of VA problems.

Oleg Petrovsky is the Cerberus general who spearheaded the attack on Omega. He is a highly competent leader, but goes out of his way to avoid needless death and is horrified that TIM let good people be killed for a diversion.

I also maintain that Shepard should've been an independent in 3. But he'd still need resources. That's where the Shadow Broker comes in. Of course he'd still coordinate with the Alliance and the council. But he's beyond them now. The fight against the Reapers should be beyond any organizational boundaries.

Hmm...I haven't read what the leaked script said about Omega. I don't mind that it was relegated to DLC, that happens all the time with planned content if they can't fit it into the timetable for release, but I hope the DLC isn't just a rehash of that cut content, or we won't have a single word of Miranda in there.

Hmm....if Miranda can't put in an appearance, it would be rather nice to be able to talk with Petrovsky about her. Perhaps he could tell us she's been up to something in co-operation with him. That would be much better than an e-mail, and since Petrovsky is the sane part of Cerberus it wouldn't reflect badly on her wherever you stand on the matter.

That is, if they don't retcon Petrovsky's character.

I'm so desperate to get anything for Miranda, a simple mention from Petrovsky would be good for me.

Of course, i'd like more than that if possible

If it had been up to me, Liara would have had Hackett's role, with Shepard working under the auspices of the SB, with a multiracial crew and squad. Starting squad would have been Feron and the VS. Miranda would have either been a midgame squadmate or a Legion/Mordin style cameo.

I promise you I don't fly around the forum looking for any suggestion that Liara not be on the squad so I can squash it... but no. Liara belongs on the squad. They may not have implemented the Shadow Broker role wonderfully, but fundamentally, she's Shepard's squadmate. They belong together, especially fighting at each others' side at the very end.

I'm sorry but that's utter bull****. Liara is the shadow broker she has no buisness being on the field. Being on the ship helping him sure but an active squadmate is just dumb same as Tali. Tali is a bloody admiral she should be off with her people not with Shepard. This is just fanservice.
