Not really, it's more of an off-hand remark by Miranda so that Brooks infiltrating the Spectre Archives makes sense. Although, I prefer to just go with the idea that Miranda is doing the Cerberus equivalent of sending the intern out on a coffee run so she can work in peace.

Hmm, what about the continuity error everyone was freaking out about?

Disappointed but not surprised if its true that they haven't pulled a cat out of the bag in relation to the clone nonsense they waded hip deep into. Think i'll just try and mentally erase any memory of the silly comics from my mind and stick solely to game universe.

I wish that instead of the whole "Brooks meets the Squadmate of the Month" they went with an actual adventure like they did with The Silent Grove, Those Who Speak, and Until We Sleep.

I don't think Mac has caught on to the fact that no amount of comics will make people think that Brooks and Kai Leng are anything other than joke characters.

Terrible art aside, I thought this was pretty decent by Foundation standards. Miranda comes off much better and more capable here than she does in her own comic. I think the clone shown is clearly meant to be the Citadel clone. It's a retcon, but I prefer it to Citadel. And always nice to see Vasir again.

It's always good to see Miranda back in "Operative Lawson" mode. I get the impression that they turned her into a damsel in distress in her comic just to make Jacob look good.

I wouldn't mind seeing a comic based on the adventures of Miranda and her band of renegades set during ME3, but I don't trust Dark Horse with such a thing.

That would really be awesome though indeed i wouldn't trust them to do a quality job.

I suppose Fan Fiction is the only way to go.

Alright seriously, I need details. Does the clone thing break continuity or not?

Ironically, Brooks comes off better, despite being in a joke DLC.

How so? Also  @ underlined.

lol, what do you have againts Vasir ?

And to answer your question, and that is from all i have gathered, i haven't read the comic, it indeed breaks continuity with Citadel.

In general, I prefer Miranda to know thing rather than not know things. And the whole thing is less played for laughs. But yes continuity is broken. The clone is clearly meant to be the Citadel clone, which Miranda can use for testing only. She knows Brooks as Rasa, not Lilium and so on.

Oh, nothing, it's just that I didn't get to fill her waste of a meatsack with lead or grains of sand or whatever we fire, after the **** she pulled in Shadow Broker. Incidentally, she made a better nemesis than Leng because I the player actually wanted to reach into the screen and strangle her (as she was getting turned into swiss cheese by Shepard & co.)

The name is inconsequential. The clone is... problematic. Mainly for the dialogue in Citadel. Miranda playing Operation: The Home Game on the clone really doesn't mesh with "just rumors". But unless the comic shows (or plans to show) Brooks grinning evily while waking up the clone with Miranda in the next room, the events can still be reconciled.

Miranda is my favorite companion from the ME trilogy. I don't know if you guys have seen this pic yet, but I really like this one.

Yikes....very detailed.

Though your emotions towards her indeed show she was a good nemesis, it was a real shame you didn't really have a choice as to how to end her.

Oh and great pictures Sif !

My first playthrough of LotSB I had squad power use turned on. Thanks to Shepand using Pull and an ill-timed Slam Miranda sent Vasir flying off of the roof

lol was it an instant-win like pushing an Atlas off? Or did the game bug out?

It was an instant win and the cutscene played as normal but I'm wondering if this happened:

Shepard: Remind me never to get on your bad side.

Miranda: She had more momentum than I thought.

Shepard: Well it's a good thing she hit those cars on the way down, otherwise we'd be bringing her back in a bucket.

Hah! That is awesome. Reminds me of teh time I cloak-sniped a frozen mook just as Kasumi Shadowstruck him and Miranda slammed him.

There was definitely bouncing.

But yeah, I'd be content to just doing this:

tumblr_me4smf6FFK1r5cmqwo1_500.gif

to Vasir, only a few minutes longer.

Liara: Shepard are we done shooting? You can't even recognize her as asari anymore!

Miranda: I'm empty anyway. And my trigger finger's sore.

Shepard: ...fine.

Ah those moments, a feel of pure awesomeness when your favourit characters do perfect combos and dominate the field.

Pretty much how i feel

It'd be awesome if they had badass banter/friendly rivalry about it too.

Miranda: So does that one count as yours, or mine?

Kasumi: Well I was already behind him, winding up when your slam caught him...

Miranda: Yeah? Well why didn't you finish him then?

Kasumi: I was laughing too hard from the way he bounced.

Miranda: Well it  is a lot funnier than just sniping them.

Kasumi: Why do you think I hide all the ammo from the Widow? If Shep had that, we'd have nothing left to shoot!

Heavy weapons could make competition a bit unfair:

Shepard: Well at least we know that the Arc Projector works as advertised.

Miranda: (Covered in husk goo, glares at Shepard.)

Shepard: You have something in your hair.

Miranda: (Coldly) Really? I hadn't noticed.

I finally saw the movie Serenity and realized how good it could have been to have a competent and interesting nemesis to Shepard, maybe even show a darker Miranda, a bit like Raza but better of course.

I still remember this art and how it got me excited, thinking Leng would be an equal to Shepard, if not stronger
